Marked by the cursed Darksign, Naruto Uzumaki finds himself tethered to two worlds: the unforgiving lands of Dark Souls and the shinobi realm of ninja. How will a world of Dark souls face a Chosen Undead with chakra? And how will the shinobi world confront a warrior reborn in the Lands of Lordran?
Good start, nice way of blending the world. I don't have much knowledge about Dark Souls, but it is quite intriguing. The only problem I felt was the use of "Oh Kami", it just destroys the flow of the story, as the rest are delivered in English and "Kami" is japanese. There is nothing wrong with using it, but as a reader I felt it disrupts the flow of the content as I read.
A genuine review. For me, this story is a 4.8. The character interactions are well thought out, the world-building is interesting, and even the Souls world is incredibly well done. I absolutely loved what you did with the NPCs. The only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 is because of a few moments that frustrated me—not because they were bad, but just due to my personal taste. I personally prefer a protagonist who’s more intelligent and doesn’t take much nonsense (basically: near-perfect). It’s a bit of a childish preference, but that’s just how it is for me. Seeing how Naruto interacts, how the other ninjas act around him, and his lack of sharpness when it comes to figuring out certain important things he’s overlooking really frustrates me! But that’s not nearly enough to make me dislike the story. In fact, it’s actually a great thing—it shows how well the author has given Naruto a consistent and solid personality instead of making him bounce between “perfect” and “idiot” like many fanfics tend to do. My only concern is the future of the story. Personally, I’d find it ridiculous if, later on, ninja world characters became as strong as Naruto or somehow ended up in the Dark Souls world (for example, Naruto bringing them there). I really hope that doesn’t happen. BUT, even if it does, I definitely won’t drop this story. The author has proven to be highly capable at writing and developing the plot, and when they do something questionable, they provide solid reasoning behind it. So, I’ll always give the benefit of the doubt and see where things go next. Excellent work—keep it up~!
Phenomenal job One of the best fanfics I’ve read on this site. The characters have life to them, they carry the same love that was put into the originals. The way you give just enough details to flesh things out and keep it interesting without making it an info dump. Plot seems natural with very little forced interaction and problems. You give reference material for those that might not know the franchises as well. Just absolutely love it. This book gets my seal of approval
Es interesante en el desarrollo de personajes con ñas tramas que ofrecen este autor..................................................................................................................................
I legit never do a review. I mostly just give power stones. But please x20… don’t drop this. This is an amazing and beautiful piece of art. This is actually amazing and got mad that I have to wait for another chapter. I 100% recommend this to anyone. Even if you haven’t read Dark Souls; it is like reading an original series. 5 stars no problem.😌
this one is just great, one of the greatest fanfics I've ever read, thought it has not enough fans, I think the reason is that the Darksouls part of the story makes people go: "I don't know anything about Darksouls 1 so not a story for me" the thing is, I didn't know anything about Darksouls too, but let me tell you something about it, I didn't need to know anything, the story progresses in a way that you will learn about Darksouls as you go so basically Naruto swaps between the Darksouls and Naruto world and we witness his story in both, and something I really like about it is that it doesn't fallow canon like ALL OF THE NARUTO FANFICS do, the characters are all better written than their canon counterparts, and all in all it's great, and the Darksouls part too, at first I just rolled my eyes when Naruto went there, and would see it as his training ground instead of an actual part of his story every time he went there I would say: "okey do some upgrade and get some new skills and turn back to konoha", but right now I am as invested in it as I was in the Naruto part, and I didn't know shit about Darksouls, and the plots are connected so it's not like reading two stories with one protagonist, it's the journey of Naruto becoming better both as a warrior and as a person, you see his Ideals forming and changing and adapting to the things he experiences, and in his journey he is not alone, any other character he interacts with is changing too, they feel human, it great, give it a try, ah and there is no bashing too, so no comedically evil third hokage and team seven and stuff like that, I literally love all the characters I didn't give a shit about in the original Naruto manga/anime
Awesome novel, i had never even thought of imagining a fictional character from another series (naruto) enter dark souls world. it's been really interesting so far (chapter 37), the interaction between naruto and the dark souls characters, naruto dealing with the brutality and darkness of this new world and never giving up, it all comes together to create this awesome story of resolve, courage and of course comedy. These are done just right in this story: the cruelty of the dark souls world, naruto being naruto, the shinobi world being full of light and darkness, kindness and schemes, and also sometimes game lore and some real life basic scientific knowledge, basic as they may be, they were very interesting when used in the story. Thank you for this amazing story and i hope to see more, like much more, if dark souls 1 ends, i'd love to see dark souls 2, 3 and the rest of souls games, bloodborne, elden ring and sekiro: shadows die twice, sekiro would be interesting because of the similarities between the shinobi world and sekiro world. Please continue this story with the games that you have played and enjoyed, whichever they are, i really want to see more of this story: naruto and the souls series, though to be honest even one game is enough if you want to keep it that way, dark souls 1 can be infinitely replayed, each time playing a certain way if you want and make different choices with the world and the characters, so it's up to you author-san, i just hope to see more. Have a great day.
If you don't choose Deprived class, it doesn't count, just saying. Praise the Sun.
