Lost and Found

Have you ever experienced a moment when your chest tightens so much that you can hardly breathe, but somehow you manage to keep breathing? A moment when you feel like you're losing your vision, but you can still see? That was exactly how I felt. The warm smiles and sparkling eyes of the people I trusted changed in the blink of an eye, leaving me surrounded by grim faces. I stood in the brightest and warmest room in the world, yet I felt like I was drowning in an endless sea of darkness.

My hand trembled as I reached out to grasp the light that was slipping away from me, disappearing with each passing second. I blamed myself for everything that happened, wondering if I was the problem. Was I only a tool for their own selfish purposes? These thoughts raced through my mind as the light began to approach me.

The warmth from the light felt like a mother's embrace, but it was short-lived. Just like everything good in my life, it disappeared as quickly as it had come. When I regained consciousness, I found myself lying on the grass, covered in mud and blood. I couldn't move without experiencing excruciating pain, but as the sun shone down on me, I knew that I would be alright.

The sunlight had a healing effect on me, and the warm breeze carried my pain away. If I could move, I would have kissed the green and wet ground. I tried to stand up, but my body wouldn't cooperate. I could only lift my left hand, and I couldn't help but notice how small it was. It was as if my entire body had been reduced in size.

As I lay there, I asked myself, "Did I die?" Suddenly, my head started to hurt, and memories flooded my mind. It was as if a dam had broken loose, and I struggled to keep up with the deluge of images and thoughts that raced through my mind.

The pain was too much, and I had to close my eyes to organize my thoughts. I knew that I could recover those memories, but the current version of myself was as useless as ever. I couldn't help but feel a sense of despair and frustration, knowing that I had lost so much of my former self.

But then, I laughed. I laughed at the sad, weak, and pathetic figure that I had imagined myself to be. In my mind's eye, I saw a man wearing a long white coat, dark circles under his eyes, and a mad gleam in his eye. He was me, but a version of me that was so far removed from reality that it was comical.

I had allowed myself to be tricked, he believe that the Lotus clan the strongest and most noble in all of humanity musty have cure. I had sacrificed everything, my life, my humanity, and even my sister.....

Iris took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. She knew that getting angry wouldn't solve anything, but sometimes it was hard to control her emotions. She looked out of the window and watched as the scenery passed by. The city was bustling with people going about their daily business, completely unaware of the struggles she was facing.

Iris had always known that adopting a child would be difficult, but she never imagined it would be this hard. As a hero, she had faced countless challenges and defeated many villains, but this was different. This was personal. She wanted to give a child a better life, to show them that there was more to the world than hate and revenge.

But finding the right child seemed like an impossible task. She had visited 15 orphanages already, but none of the children had the same fire burning inside them as she did. She had seen talented kids with potential, but none of them had experienced the kind of pain and suffering that she had. She needed a child who could understand her and who she could connect with on a deeper level.

Iris knew that adopting a child would be a huge responsibility. It was not something she took lightly. She had spent months researching and preparing herself for this journey. She had read every book on parenting and had talked to other adoptive parents, but nothing could have prepared her for the emotional rollercoaster she was on.

She knew that the media was watching her every move, waiting for her to make a mistake. The pressure was immense, but she refused to give up. She was determined to find the right child, no matter how long it took.

As the car pulled up to her mansion, she got out and walked towards the front door. She could hear the faint sound of music coming from inside. It was Claire, her partner, playing the piano. The soothing melody calmed her nerves, and she couldn't help but smile.

She walked inside and saw Claire sitting at the piano, lost in thought. Claire was the one who had suggested adoption in the first place. She had seen how much Iris wanted a child of her own and had convinced her to take the first step.

"How was it?" Claire asked without turning around.

Iris sighed. "No luck. I don't know how much longer I can keep this up."

Claire got up from the piano and walked over to Iris. She put her arms around her and gave her a reassuring hug.

Even though her armes got never full embrace her monsters body.

Claire Said

"It's okay. We'll find the right child eventually. It just takes time."

Iris leaned into the embrace and closed her eyes. She felt safe in Claire's arms. They had been through so much together, and she knew that they could handle anything as long as they were together.

As they stood there, holding each other, Iris knew that she had to keep trying. She couldn't give up on finding the right child. She had a responsibility to make a difference in someone's life, and she wouldn't stop until she found the one.

As I slowly took in my surroundings, memories flooded back to me like a raging river. The scent of burning incense mixed with the soft snores of the children around me brought back a sense of nostalgia that I had long forgotten. This was the church where my sister and I spent most of our childhood, where we were taught the ways of the Sun God and the importance of devotion and sacrifice.

The room was dimly lit by candles, casting flickering shadows on the walls. The double-decker beds were lined up in rows, each filled with sleeping children of all ages. I recognized some of their faces from my childhood, but most were strangers to me. I wondered how long I had been unconscious, and what had brought me back here.

As I sat up, I noticed that my body felt lighter than before. The pain that had once consumed me was gone, replaced by a feeling of warmth and peace. I realized that one of the priests in the church must have healed me using the Sun God's ability, a power that I had never quite believed in until now.

Looking up at the clear night sky through the large windows in the roof, I couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of the stars. They twinkled like diamonds against the dark canvas of the night, each one shining with its own unique brilliance. The constellations that I had studied as a child seemed more vibrant and alive than ever before.

As I gazed at the stars, I felt a weight lifting off my shoulders. All the worries and emotions that I had been suppressing for years bubbled up to the surface, and tears streamed down my face. It was as though a dam had broken inside me, and all the pain and sorrow that I had buried deep inside was finally being released.

In that moment, I knew that I was reborn. I was not just healed physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well. The old life that I had known, the life that was built on shaky foundations, crumbled away to make room for something new and better.

I looked up at the statue of the Sun God, its divine beauty filling me with a sense of awe and reverence. I felt a fierce determination rising within me, a burning desire to seek revenge on those who had wronged me. I swore that I would make them pay for their crimes,I show them the true meaning of fear.

Little did the world know that on that day, a disaster of unimaginable proportions had been born. A darkness had taken root in the youn boy body, and it would not be satisfied until it had consumed everything in its path
