'I cannot believe her.'
Rushing inside the building I was able to find my father, hands digging through his desk as a look of confusion drenched his features.
"Dad? Dad!" I yelled catching his attention, whipping his head around to look at me he stands.
"Come here. I had some of those pieces laying about and now there gone." He proclaims with a swing of his arm over the top of his paper worked scattered desk. The roaring wind from outside being of no help as I crossed over to him to help.
After a few minutes, I swing my arms up and grab his. Pulling him from the desk as the sound of shoes draw closer. Rookie, Elizabeth rounds the corner gun drawn down a look of concern on her face.
"What's wrong?" I ask as she peers into the room.
"Have either of you seen Olive?" She asks, pulling back to look down the hall. Shaking my head, she lets out a groan. "Where the hell did, she go?"
"Wait, she's not in the car?" Stepping out of the room, I make my way back towards the double doors.
"No, that's why I came in here? Thought she probably followed you." Reaching the car, she wasn't yanking my chain, Olive has up and disappeared the only thing in the car being the stack of chess books that lay haphazardly tossed into the back seat.
"Fuck…"
"Do you think she went to her aunts place?" Elizabeth asks, running her hands through her hair. Shaking my head, the thought almost crossed my mind before looking out into the rain.
"No way! Elinor's place is a good six miles in the opposite direction. Unless she learned to highjack cars. Which I highly doubt. She's got to be somewhere." Feeling a hand on my shoulder, I turn towards my dad.
"You got to remember who that girl is. She's just like her Uncle. Wherever she is we got to trust she'll pop up soon."
"Believe me dad I trust her more then anyone… Well besides you and ma, but you know what I mean." He nods a smirk on his lips as he moves around the car. Yelling out into the rain, he turns to face us. Motioning to the inside of the car we pile back in. Elizabeth taking the driver seat as my dad, and I move the books around in the back.
"Lets just hope she'll meet us there."
'I cannot believe her right now...'
