An entity tied to me - part 4

He actually was right. Going to a warmer place was going to be much better. So without thinking twice, I took his in agreement and he helped me get on my feet. His beautiful smile never left his lips.

"Let's go, sweetie..."

His right hand was now resting protectively around my waist. Something about that young man was making me feel less pained and more accepted, feeling less unsafe and more protected. My guts were telling me that guy was what I was looking for, the one I had to follow no matter what. I had to trust them.

As we were walking down the slippery pavements, I started caring less and less about the people whom I was supposed to meet. If this guy was making me feel safe by just holding my hand, then I needed nothing more but his company.

"Well, I think I never got your name, sir..." I mumbled.

"It's Michael Jackson, and please do not call me a sir! There's no need for such formalities between the two of us, is there?" Michael giggled. "So, what is your name, princess?"

"I'm YN..." you replied.

"YN what? I gave you my last name too if you remember!" he joked and a blush appeared on your pale chubby cheeks.

Michael noticed and laughed once more. "No need to feel ashamed, little one, for I was only joking! You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." his tone was now more serious than a few moments ago.

You gave Michael a small nod and held his gloved hand a bit tighter. "Nah, it's alright, actually. I'm YN YLN..."

"Nice to meet you, then! By the way, do you happen to have a favorite cafeteria or a restaurant you prefer around here? I honestly do not want to drag you to somewhere you probably do not like!"

You thought about it for a couple of minutes before giving Michael a reply. The first place that came into your mind was Starbucks. When you were younger and your  "powers" were not that powerful, your parents used to bring you to Starbucks quite often whether it was after school or after you had done your homework or the three of you had just run some errands and wanted some kind of a treat. It actually felt amazing to do things like that with your family.

"We could go to Starbucks, I guess." you politely answered.

"Great! Wait 'till we get there and girl I promise there will be a lot of things to catch up on! At least until the ones you're waiting for show up..."

But deep down, you kind of felt that those dudes were not going to show up that day. Maybe someday they would, but not that day.

"I would be glad to do so, Michael."

"That's the answer I wanted to receive! So, what are we waiting for? Let's go!"
