Weakening the Black Serpent

Ever since Ainsley and Sinclair decided to take down New Moon Dragon on their own, they had noticed something very important. Green magic… didn't seem to work too well against him and his shadows. It was probably because his moon energy was too strong that it was repelling Sinclair's spells even before they even hit.

That was a big problem for everyone. It's just that… who were these two? Weren't they a pair of reckless people, one was a muscle head while the other pretended to be clever? It didn't even matter which was which, but they easily agreed to each other's plans.

Just minutes earlier, they were already resting after reconnecting the dragon hearts to further meld their powers with the one the Island Mother had given them. Since Sinclair had died days ago, the connection broke and left them unable to tap into each other's magic freely.

Now that it was restored, the dragon hearts had become stronger than ever.
