The one when Sabrina became a villain

Sabrina found herself summoned back to the Sea Jade Palace one day before her trip down to Kuala Lumpur with Kavan. Once again, she stood because the clan council of elders and none of them, with the exception of Dashen, looked pleased. In fact, most of them were scowling at her.

"What is this about you continuing to live with your human match?"one of the elders, Kai Shen, asked.

"I wasn't living with him. Technically, I am still living with Dashen's family," she lied glibly. She will never admit it. Anything to protect Kavan from the wrath of the elders.

"That is not what we heard," another elder, Xin Shen, said.

She shrugged. Let them accuse her of anything. What's the worse they could do to her at this rate? They've already taken her powers.

"We specifically told you to stay away from him otherwise we will have to get rid of him," Ong Shen, the head of the elders' council, said sternly.

She glared at him and then the rest of them.

"We are not supposed to hurt any humans, remember? Don't think I've forgotten the dragon code!" she said. She had read up after the last time they summoned her. She knows for a fact that they had issued empty threats the other time. She will not be cowed by their empty threats this time.

The elders cleared their throats. They realised that she now knows they had issued empty threats, dangling Kavan's safety to make her comply with their orders.

"You are still to stay away from him, you are underage!" Ong Shen said.

Sabrina glared at him.

"I have my full powers, I am only 500 years short, I don't see why it's such a big deal, it's not as if I am 12 years old," she said.

"It is in our dragon's code and laws that only 2,000 years old and older dragons can mate," he replied stiffly.

"Well, whatever. It's a stupid law if you asked me! If I am not allowed to mate then why is it that I found my human match now? It can't be a coincidence!" she responded belligerantly.

They were silent for a moment. Ong Shen cleared his throat importantly.

"Look, finding your human match now doesn't meant you can mate. It doesn't work that way," he started to say.

"Oh really? How many dragons do you know easily finds their match the moment they are of age?? It took some of them hundreds of years! I know for a fact that the clan elder from the Heaven's Descent clan was almost 4,000 years old before he found his human match!" she said pointedly, referring to another dragon shapeshifter clan.

There were some muttering between some of the elders, some of them nodding among themselves, but Ong Shen glared at them and they clamped up. Dashen is looking down, studying his clasped hands. It figures. He is not going to risk his neck to fight for her, Sabrina thought.

"Even so, that doesn't give you the liberty to do as you like and go against our decisions!" Ong Shen said.

"You already took away my powers, what else do you want??? Honestly!"

"It looks like you have some powers back with you…how is that possible?" Ong Shen looked surprised. He narrowed his eyes at her and then he turned to look at Dashen suspiciously. He shrugged.

"It wasn't me, don't ask me!" he protested.

"Who gave you the powers?" Ong Shen asked.

Sabrina will never reveal Xin Yi's secret. Never. Especially not to this bunch of stiff douchebag dragon elders. She lifted her chin.

"I got it back on my own, I don't know how but that's how it is," she lied.

Ong Shen's eyes widened in surprise. The other elders started whispering among themselves.

"Quiet!" Ong Shen ordered.

"That is entirely impossible!!" he said, his loud voice booming.

Sabrina rolled her eyes. If he had intended to scare her, he's wrong. She is not so easily frightened by loud booming voices. She focused on gathering her powers and suddenly she could feel it suffusing her entire being. She did manage to unlock and regain her powers. She was shocked. She stared at her hands. They were glowing. The elders are all staring at her hands too and now they are talking among themselves louder.

"Impossible…" "How did she…" "That's another level.." "Dashen did you.."

"Quiet! All of you!" Ong Shen ordered. The others stopped talking. They looked at him and then looked at her. He stood up and glared at Sabrina.

"How did you do that?" he asked, barely containing his temper.

She shrugged. She'll be damned if she knew. She was only trying her luck, she didn't even expect it to work at all.

"I don't know, I summoned it and it came back," she said flippantly.

"That's highly impossible!" Ong Shen exclaimed.

"Or so you've said and yet, here I am," she retorted. She snapped and all of the elders are dressed in clown costumes. She laughed. It worked!

"What is this! Sabrina!!!" Ong Shen was beyond furious. He flicked a finger and they are back to their boring attire of business suits and formal shirts. He flicked a finger and Sabrina found herself bound to a chair with thick chains around her.

"We will have to imprison you for this, this is insubordination!" he said.

She struggled against the chains but to no avail. Then she focused her powers on it and the chains turned into strings of pearls before dropping off her, the pearls rolling off in all directions.

Ong Shen is now livid. His face is red and his eyes are bulging.

"You will do as we ordered Sabrina!" he shouted.

"Oh shut up, Ong Shen, you are boring me," Sabrina fake yawned and flick her fingers. Now, it was Ong Shen who was chained up to his chair. He struggled against it and no matter how he tried, he couldn't get out of it.

"Release me this instance!" he ordered. She flick another finger and he was gagged. The other elders were gaping in disbelief at the whole altercation. In all the years as the council elders, they have never seen this happen before. They are the council of elders because they are the most powerful dragon shapeshifters in the clan. No one, not least a 1,500 year old female dragon, could overpower them in any way.

"Anyone else want to join him?" she asked them. They stared at her with renewed respect in their eyes.

"Look, just let him go and we will let you off with a warning," Kai Shen told her.

"I thought he's all powerful head of the elders…is this even possible?Are you sure he's not faking it?" she asked. She looked at Ong Shen. He is really struggling against his restraints. How did she manage to restrain the head of the elders' council?

She backed away. What has she done?? Did she just became a villain and chained up the head of the clan elders?

"Sabrina, release him and just go, I will talk to them," Dashen told her. She nodded. She released Ong Shen and before he could react, she disappeared.
