“Please leave Ivy. I don't deserve you, you are the light of my life. But I don't want to drag you into darkness” Gavon said with a hoarse voice and his lips were trembling.

Ivy smiled and cupped his face, but he didn't look into her eyes “Gav, if light embraces the darkness then it becomes a cozy morning. If darkness embraces the light then it becomes a beautiful night”.

Still, Gavon didn't dare to look into her eyes but she continued “If there is no light and dark then there won't be a day. If you are not there then there is no meaning for my life Gavon”.

Gavon snapped his head upwards and looked into her clear black eyes. A tear rolled from his right eye and he hugged her tightly.

Dragon Loves Me

Simon felt like yesterday all those things happened but many months passed by and his daughter got married and now helping them with their tasks and contributing to the kingdom. He is delighted that his daughter evolved from a sick girl to a strong, healthy, brave, and inspiring woman.

He glanced at Olaf who skimmed him for a few seconds before opening its wing to indicate him to look in the direction. Simon walked forward to check the thing Olaf mentioned and saw Ivy curled on the ground and sleeping peacefully. His heart ached to see her situation, and at the same time felt proud that she did something outstanding and adjusted to this kind of situation as well.

'Ivy' Simon murmured and looked at Olaf "Thank you for taking care of her, I will take her home to have a proper rest."
