“Please leave Ivy. I don't deserve you, you are the light of my life. But I don't want to drag you into darkness” Gavon said with a hoarse voice and his lips were trembling.

Ivy smiled and cupped his face, but he didn't look into her eyes “Gav, if light embraces the darkness then it becomes a cozy morning. If darkness embraces the light then it becomes a beautiful night”.

Still, Gavon didn't dare to look into her eyes but she continued “If there is no light and dark then there won't be a day. If you are not there then there is no meaning for my life Gavon”.

Gavon snapped his head upwards and looked into her clear black eyes. A tear rolled from his right eye and he hugged her tightly.

Dragon Loves Me

The next morning Ivy woke up late in the morning, by the time she woke up Gavon was not beside her and the bed turned cold which indicates he left early.

Ivy called her maid Kily inside, after she entered she inquired about Gavon "Kily, Where is Gavon? Did he leave to palace?"

"Master went out with Ethan sir in the morning and we are not sure where he went. Master instructed us to inform you to not worry and he will come soon." Kily informed.

Ivy nodded her head, she understand that he need to inform the King about his return there might be some secret information to update him. She didn't think much and nodded her head.

"Alright, help me for a bath," Ivy said and get down from the bed.

By the time she came out of the washroom, she saw Gavon reading some documents in the room. Ivy was surprised by seeing him and went towards him with a smile "Gav,"
