“Please leave Ivy. I don't deserve you, you are the light of my life. But I don't want to drag you into darkness” Gavon said with a hoarse voice and his lips were trembling.

Ivy smiled and cupped his face, but he didn't look into her eyes “Gav, if light embraces the darkness then it becomes a cozy morning. If darkness embraces the light then it becomes a beautiful night”.

Still, Gavon didn't dare to look into her eyes but she continued “If there is no light and dark then there won't be a day. If you are not there then there is no meaning for my life Gavon”.

Gavon snapped his head upwards and looked into her clear black eyes. A tear rolled from his right eye and he hugged her tightly.

Dragon Loves Me

After Queen lost her consciousness the shadow guards didn't delay and went to inform the King about the matter. King Gabriel got shocked when he heard about the news and soon he turned furious, at that time he is in a meeting with Bratton about the marriage, and before Bratton informed him about the news the guards came rushing and he heard the news which shocked him to the core.

"What are you doing? Is this why you were getting paid? You are not even able to protect the Princess inside the palace. Bunch of trash." Gabriel smashed the flower vase in anger.

They all fell onto their knees seeing his sudden outburst, they bowed before him and didn't dare to breathe loudly.

"Please punish us, your majesty, we are not able to save the princess." the leader of the Queen's shadow guards said while shivering.

"Punishment, huh." Gabriel scoffed, "Calvin, beheaded all the people who are in the charge of Princess safety."
