Goodbye

"What? You can't be serious." Mother darkly glared at me as if I were the cause of all these. It was as if I were the one who asked Mar to decide to go home.

Which I wasn't.

He was the one who woke up one day and decided it was time for us to return to his kingdom, Merima. I wasn't the one who did so. And neither did I ask him to do that.

"My parents are eager to see the baby. That way the reason I planned for this trip."

"How long will you be there?" Mother looked like she was ready to compromise if the time of our return doesn't exceed two days.

"I don't know. It all depends on the condition back at home. Anyway, we are not going to stay that long." Mar said with a face that made it seem like it wasn't his plan to leave, at all.

"You don't know how long? Why don't you video chat with your parents? This way they can be able to communicate with your baby, Just fine."

"I'm afraid, there's no connection there."
