CHAPTER 22:THE ATTACK III

By now, the goons with the snipers are wasted with their dead bodies on the floor. As the giant robot approaches the core to help out Felix with slicing blade, Archimedian and Mighty release the most flames they have ever produced due to the temporary power enhancement spell by Gangola.

A distracted giant falls to the ground heavily from tripping on a thick thorny vine created by Tania and a concerted effort from Keira and Koven running into it's mechanical legs to cause a fall. This was enough for Maria who had taken the minimizing potion to enter the robot through a tiny hole under its feet.

The trolls, Jethro and George are assisting Reelora by trying to fight Felix. They try throwing rocks ans upsetting the earth surface in order to tumble him over in every way possible. Reelora channels some of the power of the core up make the shield sustainable.

Once Maria gets inside through the feet, she sees the mechanical movement of the joints of the legs as it stands up right.

She tries to make her way to where the controlling is done with a small blue spelled leaf in her hands. She struggles as the leaf is kind of heavy to carry in her minute form.

At the control room, there are 5 lab scientists running about to move some controllers. Once she starts experiencing a tingling feeling, she knows that the minimizing potion is wearing out and therefore she needs to hurry.

She plants the leaf at the far corner of the room unnoticed. She zooms back into the legs looking for a way to get out. She notices a small light coming from an opening in the knee and she goes for it.

When she gets outside, she can see Maria still trying to drag the robot down with some vines, while the dragons covers the part where the controllers can see the outside with their constant flamy breaths. This causes the robot to wave hands about and shoot lasers in all directions.

Toban holds Felix's not in place with an electricity zapping rope thinking it would shut him down. But to no avail, due to its source of power as magic. The trolls are still dealing with the robot using the earth to bind and hold its legs together.

Gangola takes a fighting stance as he chants some spells to activate the leaf and in

3......2.......1...

BOOM! The giant has exploded into pieces with parts flying everywhere. This causes every individual around the scene to fall, including Reelora. Smoke is everywhere as most people cannot see except from Reebabo of course( with the owl eyes). He notices Felix trying to stand with his boy being very active and as he approaches the currently unprotected core.

Pow! Pow! Reebabo shoots at Felix's not with two bullets of one of the power snipers on the floor from the dead goons. This causes his robot to stumble but relentlessly Felix tries to reach for the core again, then there goes another 3 shots from Reebabo.

After staggering the bot powers down causing Felix to grumble and find his way out of the robot suit. By this time, the smoke clears and a s Felix gets out, 12 beings( 5 leaders, the taskforce and the 3 immortals) have encircled him with their powers and weapons ready to strike.

Felix gently raises his hand to surrender with a cocky smile on his face, " I guess you have won, Gangola or have you?"

Suddenly, Felix brings out a gun and shoots close to Reelora's chest causing a loud wince of pain, not only from Reelora but other gifteds, whatever pain Reelora feels physically on her power, it affects the whole realm too. This causes Felix to escape , but not entirely because just in time, a flamy sword goes through his left leg causing him to kneel and blood gushes out from his now bleeding thigh. Felix looks up to see who was responsible, lo and behold Theux still hanging on his uninjured leg due to the shot wound on the other.

He said through gritted teeth while pointing the sword into the face of an already surrending and frightened Felix,"I may be shot but I can still kill you."

Reelora struggles in pain while telling Theux," don't kill him, you would regret this."

Theux eyes are the reddest they can ever be now and he screams,"Tell me one reason why I shouldn't kill him for the destructions, deaths and constant pestering of our realm, Tell me!"

"Reelora's right. He may have shot her, but she will get healed but if you kill him, you would never be able to bring him back. Remember we have a cell to imprison him. Don't do it", Gangola says calmly.

Theux then removed the sword from his face, walks away and Toban rushes to Felix to bind his hands leading him to the cage.
