Days flied past. I used to go to school everyday, with thoughts of Ghost in my mind, his utterly horrifying image lingering in my head. Walking back home was no different, just Ghost, Ghost and Ghost. One day, I was actually extremely sure that I had heard some evil laughter. The only problem was that no one else in my English class heard it, so I had no proof. Frustrating.
The days got worse and worse. No day was better than the day before. And the nights? I had the same nightmare over and over again, and everyday I used to get up groggy and exhausted.
So there you have it. That basically sums up what my previous few days were like. Sometimes I thought that I saw Ghost, but when I turned away and then looked back, he had disappeared. Disappeared into thin air.
But one thing always kept me a little strong and courageous. Ever heard this saying that everything has its own good and its own bad?
Well, I used that to my advantage. I figured out something that might help me defeat Ghost and help me save the world.
Quite an ambitious thought, huh? Maybe that's the reason many of my friends frequently call me 'Up-looker.' Ha.
Anyway, my super-crazy idea went like this:
Remember the first time I managed to make Ghost fall down? In CR's backyard? Well, I threw a gold bar at Ghost's chest at that time. And remember my nightmares? I threw a few branches at his chest. That made him fall down as well. So I was thinking, what if I grabbed as many branches as I could and keep them in my car or something and flung them at Ghost's chest whenever I encounter him? That might, just might diminish his power and make him powerless.
Supercalifragilisticexpalidocious!- well, not exactly. It's actually quite crazy. Sounds like I'm a psycho, just like CR said a few days ago.
But this was the only hope I had. So I went to the woods to grab a couple of branches.
