The moment Charlotte's life fell apart.

Charlotte woke up. She looked down on herself in a plain white hospital gown, blue lines ran in cross hatches round the baggy gown. she unwrapped the blanket that covered her and sat up. she turned slowly to meet Rena staring at her from the bed beside hers.

"Rena, what happened?"....she asked.

Rena sat up. a book sat in between her laps.

"we crashed into the earth "..... she replied.

"Are we dead?"...Charlotte raised her tone in fear.

"No we're not. calm down".....Rena chuckled.

Charlotte placed her hands on her stomach, remembering the unbearable pain she felt earlier in the space ship.

"Dont worry they're fine".....Rena started.

Charlotte turned to her.

"What do you mean they?"....

Rena sighed before she replied.

"The doctor figured you had twins, not one child".....

"what?"... Charlotte couldn't find the words to say.

"Does my mum know?".....

"Nah, I didn't let the doctor tell her".....

"Thanks.....ughhhh"....

Charlotte groaned out in pain again.

"What is it?".....Rena turned, startled at her sudden pain.

"i have a migraine"...she replied.

"oh. the doctor said it was part of the medication. you'll be fine"...

" Good, cause I wanna leave "....

she continued. she got up and out of the bed to the ground, barely standing straight. Rena got up to, After her.

"Hey, we haven't been discharged yet"...Rena complained to her.

"i know but, I'll be back here in 9 months so,"...

Rena busted into a chuckle.

"yeah, true".....

Both women walked out the room in thier gown. Ignoring the fellow patients that walked by them.

"Charlotte you can't leave the hospital without being discharged, Rena talk to her"....Charlotte's mum complained continously as they made thier way out the hospital. Charlotte had already changed into her brown leather Jacket over a black top, black jeans and brown boots. she had forced Rena also to get ready and both were storming out the hospital unattended.

"Mum, I'm fine okay?".....Charlotte turned to her and held unto her shoulders. a warm smile that calmed her down on her face.

"Are you really okay?"....she asked.

"Ma'am she's fine. trust me ".....

Rena came into thier conversation.

"well okay"...She finally concurred.

A car pulled up and the driver's seat window wined down.

a young black man with curly hair in dark shades smiled at them, leaving Charlotte in an annoyed groan.

"Hey Charlotte"...he said.

"Dylan what are you doing here?"....

she said in a serious almost annoyed tone.

"I'm here to pick you up".....he smiled, ignoring her cold attitude.

"I'm sure your mum and Rena don't mind."....he continued.

" i dont"....her mum replied and hopped into the car.

"me neither"...Rena winked at her to annoy her and then went into the car too.

Charlotte sighed and finally agreed to go into the car. The car sped off immediately she got in and left the hospital.

Dylan dropped Charlotte home and left, leaving Charlotte and her mum alone at the front door.

" Charlotte, you've been through a lot lately with your Job and all, just rest I'll help you out at home"...

her mum assured her as they made thier way into the house.

Charlotte dived unto the couch, cuddling the soft cotton material on it. A warm smile grew on her face .

" I thought I'd never see you again "...she Said to the couch.

she looked to see her mum over the kitchen counter, ransacking some pots at the top white cabinet.

"mum what are you doing?"....she sat up.

" You haven't eaten good food in a while so I wanna whip up my famous chicken soup"...she smiled back at her briefly and then went towards the spice racket just beside the cabinet of pots.

Charlotte sighed to herself. she was about to take the biggest risk she hadn't taken since the choice of going to Chronomia.

"Mum I'm pregnant".....she finally blurted out.

the plate she held, fell from her hands at the sound of what her Tomboyish, weird daughter just said.

her eyes teared up.

"mum are you okay?".....Charlotte worried immediately.

Charlotte noticed her surprised yet happy look. An even bigger rush of guilt ran through her bloodstreams. she was about to wipe the Joy from her mother's face for a long time.

"Who is the father?".....she asked Excitedly.

Charlotte stuttered.

"um...well um.....I kinda...got married a while ago"....

" And you didn't invite your own mother?"...she smiled in a nervous heartbreaking way.

"fine, Charlotte i forgive you for not inviting me but can I at least know the father of my Grandchild?"...

she went back into her happy mood.

"he um....well, he...is gone"....

she pushed out her words as though they were too heavy to be said.

"What do you mean, he's gone?"...

"well....um he's in the army".....

Charlotte chuckled anxiously.

Her mum smiled brightly as though she had heard the best news of her life.

"woah, you married someone in the army I'm so proud of you sweetheart ".....

her mum walked towards her, about to sit beside her when Charlotte shocked her with her final words.

"I Married someone in the army on another planet ".....she blurted out, immediately regretting her words.

"what?".....her mother paused, speechless.

"I'm carring Aeonians in my stomach mum".....she confessed. Tears running down her cheeks. The look in her mum's eyes immediately told her how disappointed she was.

"You are carrying Aliens in your womb and my dream Army son in law, is a beast from another universe".....she spoke in a low, weary tone.

"mum please listen_____"....

"Tell me Charlotte, that you are just concussed and confused and saying total nonsense".....she chuckled nervously into a shocked speechless feeling at the sight of her daughter's silent agreement to what she had just said.

"Charlotte say something now!"....

she raised her voice.

" Mum I'm not kidding"...she replied sadly and then reached into her jacket pocket. she got out her phone and opened out a picture for her.

it seemed like the result of a pregnancy scan.

"what is this?".....she asked, her tone seemed angrier.

"it's a scan. I have two fetus and the doctor said they look abnormal and I know why__".....

her mum slapped her before she could finish her sentence.

" This is what I get for sending to tech school. An alien son in law and two creatures whom I will never call chidren".....her eyes teared up. she picked up her purple purse and stormed out on her, leaving her in a messy emotion.

As though things hadn't gone down hill for Charlotte, three months later becomes the toughest yet most interesting period of her life.

" push, push, push!!"...The doctor yelled.

Charlotte screamed out in pain.

She was in the theater in the middle of giving birth to twins.

"you said this woman was only pregnant for 3 months?"...the doctor whispered to the Assistant beside him.

"yes sir, only 3 months.".....she sounded shocked herself.

" can we please get back to NOT ALLOWING ME DIE".... Charlotte interrupted thier conversation.

They immediately went back to the operation. Charlotte screamed continously as the doctors gently pulled out the first Child and then the second.

Charlotte made her final of groan of pain, the moment the second Child was brought out. Her hair was drenched in sweat, her eyes worn out and tired.

"what colour are the kids?".....she panted.

"what do you mean?, They are perfectly normal".....the doctor replied, Rocking one of the child in his arms.

Charlotte smiled and then passed out. The assistant surgeons rushed to her aid while the doctor took the two newborns.

A few days after came and passed. Charlotte woke up. she still felt sore in her stomach but a strange feeling of emptiness. she opened her eyes slowly to see the doctor standing beside her.

"are you okay?".....he smiled at her.

she sat up with a groan.

"Yeah, I'm fine".....she answered.

"Your children are okay. should I bring them in?".....he continued.

"yeah, yeah sure"...

"Good. But before I do that, I realized that you have no guardian to sign your hospital papers".....

" Yeah I____"...

"what do you mean you don't have a guardian?"..... a strange voice interrupted.

she looked up to see Rena, Charlotte giggled out in joy.

"Hey ,Rena "...she smiled.

"Doctor I'll sign the papers"....Rena talked straight to the doctor and then faced Charlotte.

"I saw the twins, they look good".....she chuckled.

"Rena!, I can't believe you're here"..

"Why wouldn't I be?"...

"I know right "...Charlotte chuckled.

"OK ladies I'll leave now "...The doctor interrupted.

"Thanks doc".....Rena greeted him, watching him leave the room.

" I wish Ezreel was here".....

Charlotte said, reducing the joyous atmosphere to a gloomy one.

" I'm sure he misses you too".....

Rena assured her.

" I told her"...Charlotte chuckled nervously, staring at the blanket over her legs.

"Your mum?".....

"yeah".....

" How did she react?"...Rena wrapped her arms around her shoulder.

"She got upset and left and hasn't spoken to me since.".....

"ouch".....

"i know right. I really wish she could see what i saw in Ezreel"...

Charlotte sighed.

" look Charl, Just live in the moment. There is nothing you can really do about it. she'll definitely come around ".....Rena assured her.

"i hope so".....

"so, what did you name the kids?"

....she asked.

"Cameron and Esteban".....

Charlotte chuckled to herself.

"Esteban?"...Rena sounded confused.

"I know right?"...Charlotte continued laughing.

"Why the Mexican name?".....

" I thought it was hilarious and besides, Ezreel's Alien English has a weird Mexican touch so, I got creative".....she chuckled continously.

" you are one weird Human being, aren't you,?"...Rena shook her head.

Charlotte got discharged early. she went home with the boys in her arm, shutting the front door with the back of her foot.

she placed both of them in thier strollers seating in the living room. she tossed her car key onto the kitchen counter and went in to whip up something.

"where is the seasoning?".....she said to herself, going through the kitchen cupboards.

"ugh".....she groaned out in annoyance at the missing seasoning. she walked over to the boys and sat beside Cameron.

"boys we're ordering pizza"....she said to them as though they could hear her.

she went though her phone, looking through her contacts for something.

"where is this pizza shop's phone number?"...she complained to herself.

Esteban crawled to her and leaned on her arm. he touched the screen of the phone countless times and the pizza shop's menu and phone number appeared on the screen. she turned in shock to him and caught him giggling cutely at her.

she immediately remembered her conversation with Ezreel at the space station.

"New born Aeonians are 10 times smarter than full grown human".....he said.

"woah, No way!".....she exclaimed.

she came back to real life and turned to Esteban.

" you're already my favorite".....

she whispered to him.

Everything in the room levitated immediately. she gasped in shock and looked at Cameron who didn't seem too happy.

"calm down boy, calm down".....

she said continously, walking towards him. she picked him up and patted his back .

he giggled and yanked her hair hardly.

"ouch!!".....she yelled.

she looked at him.

" I see who's the sassy twin now"....

she blurted out at the baby who giggled unstoppably.

Everyday was a disaster with the twins.

she stood in the kitchen, frying eggs when she noticed Esteban was missing from his cradle.

she dropped the pan and rushed over. she looked around for him.

"Esteban where are___".....she noticed her cell phone was sitting beside his cradle. she went to the TV and stood beside it.

"Esteban get outta there"....

Immediately, Esteban teleported out of the TV, about to fall when she caught him.

he giggled at her .

" quit that. Next time I'm leaving you in there. Go find The Rock or something".....

she took him over to his cradle and noticed a huge fish lying in Cameron's cradle.

she dropped Esteban in his.

"Cameron, if you don't change back into a baby, I'll grill you for lunch"....

immediately the fish transformed to cameron and she scoffed in amazement and walked out on the two boys.

This weird everyday life continued for thirteen years and Cameron and Esteban grew .

Charlotte made them go to regular school, telling them to not use thier powers in public, unless the green ghost would come and eat them up.

Wierdly, Esteban grew with an akward Mexican French Accent which still amazed Charlotte.

"mum les get fanilla hiscream"....

he said.

"Esteban, for the Last time!!, its VANILLA not fanilla".....she corrected him.

Cameron laughed to himself, staring at his phone's screen.

"such a nerd".....he mumbled to himself.

Esteban heard him and threw a book at his head.

"ouch!"....Cameron yelled.

"Boys stop it".....Charlotte interrupted, picking up the book from the floor .
