10,000 Immortals

Looking at the ten thousand men in front of him, Arthur immediately fused them with the souls of Immortals.

In the next moment, the legendary ten thousand Immortals were formed.

Although Arthur didn't knew what they were capable of, many humans from Earth did knew.

On the Earth, in ancient times, The Achaemenid Empire was popularly known as the Persian Empire of Cyrus the Great. Cyrus is one the few rulers in history that deserve the title 'Great'.

He brought together a ragtag confederation of tribal Northern Iranian holdouts to carve one of the largest empires of classical antiquity.

This he achieved by creating the first truly professional army of human history. An incredibly multinational army, consisting of troops from Thrace in Eastern Europe, to the Nabateans of Arabia, from Scythian horse archers of the Steppes to the Indian Elephant Mahouts.

This army claimed victory wherever it went, except for Greece, where bad leadership of Xerxes, overconfidence and superior military doctrine of the Greek Phalanx beat them.

The army was famed for its Immortals. Called so as their number was always fixed at 10,000. Any losses in numbers was quickly replaced to maintain the 10,000 figure. It was truly an empire building force.

One could easily discern the terror this army must have caused. After all, only with a small number of 10,000, they conquered many wars.

Many might think that 10,000 is big number. But let me remind you. The ancient wars between greats empires could easily break through a million soldiers.

Moreover, this was just on Earth where population was limited. One could just imagine the wars in this world.

You must also take into consideration that Rica province is just a small island.

Then what about those truly powerful regions? Scary right!

Right now, in front of Arthur stood those legendary Immortals whose strength was beyond their numbers.

Also, they were all at Energy Sensing Realm.

What does it mean?

It means that they could not only conquer the Rica island while being half asleep, they were more than enough to cause terror in the nearby provinces.

Arthur still didn't understanding their true power, but he knew that since they were labelled as legendary by Z, then they are anything except normal.

He just smiled and ordered. "Form groups of 2000 and move towards the five cities."

The 10,000 Immortals moved out in the next moment. But they didn't create too much noise. They were well disciplined and this further increased their strength.

After they reached the five cities, the local guards and the civilians were shocked.

They felt that it was good that this mysterious power didn't went on a war to conquer the cities. If they had done so then they would have been killed without the power to resist.

Also they marvelled at the sight of Indian Elephant Mahouts. It was because most of them had never seen an elephant being used in a war.

They were just too powerful for humans. So even fighting them was impossible much less taming them.

This made them further glad that their city lords surrendered and didn't resist.

After the 10,000 Immortals were stationed at the five cities, Luv and Lucy returned back.

Arthur first introduced them to Lisa. He didn't expect that they would become close friends just upon meeting.

It was better to say that they were like sisters. And it wasn't too exaggerated to say that they all are world shaking beauties.

It was because after Lisa fused with the Heavenly Star Physique, her beauty increased by more than hundred times. And Luv and Lucy were fallen angels.

They were beautiful to begin with.

But this didn't make Arthur happy at all. It was because they were ignoring him. It was as if he was invisible.

Since he couldn't do anything about them, he could only talk with Z.

"Z, can you tell me the requirements for upgrading to the next level?"
