Hot Coffee

"Are you ready to go?" asked Mr. Martinez barging into my office and I nodded grabbing my stuff for I have been ready and waiting.


"Okay give me a minute okay. I'll send the last message and then we can leave." he said holding the door for me to get out, and I nodded as I stood there in my place as I waited for him to finish typing.


About a minute had already passed and he was now finished hopefully, and I followed behind him to the elevator and he allowed m to get in before him.


"Thank you sir." I said, and he nodded and hummed in response as he pressed the button for the parking lot floor and I was a bit confused for that was not where I was going, "ohh uhh sir I think you might have pressed the wrong floor. I'm getting off at the lobby."


"Nonsense Miss Rodriquez. I'll just take you home."
