My Dad?

The next morning we unwrapped ourselves from each other, and he went to check on Mateo as I freshen up, and make his breakfast.

"Thank you. I love you." he said before leaving, and I nodded taking Mateo from him and we began our day.

Mateo, and I have been doing Yoga together for a while now, and he was getting very good at it.

"And downward dog." said the instructor on the TV, and I laughed at Mateo, as he did just that falling over a bit.

I know that I said that looking after my son was very tiring and sometimes it may feel like a chore , and I missed having a job, but to be honest, I love being a mom.

I love waking up to my beautiful boy each morning, and watching him grow.

Even his poopy diapers I surprisingly love changing, for it gives me a sense of pride that he is well fed, and actually likes my cooking unlike his big headed father.

Mateo, was the sweetest, smartest, funniest and goofiest baby that I had ever known, so there was never a dull moment with him.
