Home at last

"Mommy!" screamed my little one when I entered through the doors of my mother's apartment, and I bent to pick him up as he wrapped his little arms around my neck, and it was in that moment that I realized how much I missed the little stinker.

"My baby! My sweet baby! Mommy missed you so so much my little Theo! Gimme kisses!"

"Nooo! Mommy stooop!" he screamed as I attacked him with millions of kisses, and I giggled for this was the thing he hated the most in the world. Affection.

"Okay, okay. Save some kisses for daddy." said Emilio, as he came and took Mateo from my hands, and gave him kisses.

"Ah. I see. it's mommy's kisses that you don't like."

"Hey! How was the vacation!?" asked my mom as she and my dad came to hug me, and I shrugged.

"Oh you know. It was this, and that." I said as tucked a strand of hair behind my ear making sure to show off the ring, and she gasped, and squealed.
