(4) Adorable tomboy

[ MC POV ]

While I was walking down the street from the Onodera Bakery because I bought bread for me and Umaru. I pass by the park I usually play on with Umaru when she goes outside. I saw a girl who has big light brown eyes and a short black and pink spiky hair wearing a black hoodie and a short skirt arguing with 2 kids. As a person who is a Step-Family-con and as someone who likes to help people I couldn't just watch as she gets harassed.

I quickly head towards them and heard what they were arguing about. "Why is your hair spiky and short are you a tomboy?" a kid mocks to the girl "Hah! look at your eyes its so big that you the there probably is no brain in there!" insults the other kid to the girl.

I giggle inside of my mind because I will just laugh it off if the one they told that to was me but I also felt angry because bullying a child isn't something nice to do and it could ruin their whole life.

The girl was about to say something but couldn't utter a single word and could only open and close her mouth. water starts to form on her eyes as she clenches her fist ready to kick ass. Deciding that enough is enough I ran towards the arguing kids.

[ Girl POV ]

'Why do they have to say stuff like that. is something wrong with my hair being spiky? does the size of my eyes matter? I know i might not be the smartest tool in the shed but... I think i look fine though, so why are they insulting me. I want to say something to them but.. the words just wont come out of my mouth.' the girl who was wondering that if she did anything wrong for her to get bullied like this. tears start to appear on her eyes as she was getting angry but she suddenly heard an angry voice close to her right side.

"Hey you ugly bastards get the fuck away from her!" a dark haired boy who she thinks is the same age as her appears besides her and confronts the 2 boys who were insulting her. "Huh? who are you!?" the two boys asks while surprised at the boy Infront of them.

"I'm someone who is cool enough to not insult a girl!" exclaims the dark haired boy. "Get out of here!" "Who are you to act like a hero!" the 2 kids shouts. However the dark haired boy seems to get angry and frowns while looking at both of them. His eyes that seems to radiate in the morning glares at the troublemakers. the 2 kids who saw him had sweat dropping of their cheeks, they run away unsteadily while saying "Ugh. whatever I dont want to deal with a simp."

Seeing the two bullies leave, his eyes that radiated earlier dims. the dark haired boy looks back at the girl behind her and walks closer to her then says with a worried face "Are you okay?". 'Cool..' she thinks to herself.

[ Narrator POV ]

The girl who saw how the boy Infront of her fended those two kids off with only a glare could only look at him with awe. "Are you okay?" she nods to his question and rubs her eyes with her forearm to wipe the tears that were about to drop. Kirai looks at her introduces himself and asks "My name is Oosuki Kirai. what's your name?"

Done wiping her eyes she looks at Kirai and says "Yuji. my name is Itadori Yuji." hearing what her name was Kirai was shocked. He knows he is in anime world but never knew there are genderbent characters or you could say people. With this knowledge Kirai realizes that there is now a very high chance that he is in Jujutsu Kaisen and wonders if there are more dangers that can harm his life and family.

"Dont mind what those idiots said Itadori-san. You look pretty and cool." he tells her so that she forgets what those kid tells her and the fact that he finds tomboyish girls hot. "T-Thanks Oosuki-san.. you looked cool too." she stutters but murmurs the last part of her sentence softly but Kirai heard what she had said.

Truth to be told. Kirai's senses and body are greatly enhanced more than a normal human has. He realizes this a week after merging with Kira. he can hear, see, and sense much more than a normal person.

Kirai smirks and says "I know i did. Call me Kirai." Yuji who realizes she was heard only nods with a tinge of pink because she was heard. "Then call me Yuji too Kirai-san." Kirai nods and tells her "Alright Yuji-san lets be friends but sorry I have to go." he points at the plastic bag filled with bread. Yuji who heard this got disappointed that she couldn't talk with him more but then smiles after hearing what Kirai next says "We can meet here tomorrow though." Yuji nods and waves him goodbye to which he waves as well whilst walking away.

Kirai is now heading home after the little trouble that has happened and after meeting a girl who looks like a tomboy. As he was arriving home he can hear footsteps behind him following him wherever he went. he decides to end this stalker charade and looks behind him only to see Yuji looking at him.

"Yuji-chan are you following me"? Kirai asks with a deadpan face. "Ah no. We were just walking in the same road together. see that house, that's where i live." Yuji points at a house and explains to dismiss the misunderstanding. Kirai who heard this just says while walking towards his house "Oh i see.. well see you tomorrow Yuji-san" Yuji waves at him before entering her house and Kirai does the same.

Kirai after entering through the front door like a normal person. he is met by a small Umaru Infront of him who hugs him immediately and complains "Nii-chan where did you went off to? you were gone for 30 minutes! a neet can only watch anime without food for so long."

"*sigh* why is my Imouto such a neet." Kirai contemplates while Umaru grabbed the plastic full of bread away from his hands. "Because i am and you love me more cause of it." she says while running up the stairs to go to their room to watch anime. "I know." he murmurs.

[ The Next Day ]

A beautiful cloudy morning inside the Oosuki Household. "Umaru I'm going out for a bit. send a friend request to the [ Blank ] duo. they're pretty good to actually make us tie a game like that." Kirai says while he walks out of the room. "Sure. I'll gacha first to see if i win a 5-star servant!" what Umaru doesn't know is that she will be walking into the first layer of hell.

Kirai is walking down the stairs freshened up because he has to go meet Yuji in the park. "Mom im going out to meet my friend!" Kirai shouts in the house so wherever Mamako was she can hear him. Mamako who heard this from the kitchen walks up to him and asks "Ara Ara~ and who is this friend of yours Kira-kun?" (Kira-kun = Nickname)

"She is someone I met in the park yesterday." replied Kirai. hearing that it is a girl Mamako puffs her cheeks and pouts "Hmph! Kira-kun is already leaving me for another girl." Kirai who heard this scratched his cheek and says "Mom, you know you're always gonna be the first in my heart." "Hehehe I know Kira-kun~ go on now, you dont leave a girl waiting." Mamako pushed Kirai from inside to outside of the house and shuts the door. Kirai could only sigh and go to the park for Yuji.

Mamako who was behind the door whispers while tightly rubbing her thighs with her hands against the door "Mmmh~ that's why dont make me wait for too long. Mmm~"

Kirai who arrived at the park saw Yuji wearing her usual hoodie standing under a tree with her hands behind her back. "Yuji-chan!" Kirai waves his hand towards her. Yuji who saw him smiles and waved back and ran close to him. "Yuji-chan did you wait for long?" Yuji shook her head and says "Kirai-kun follow me to my h-house! I told my Jii-san(Grandpa) that i finally made a f-friend!"

Kirai giggles and nods his head and with that Yuji grabs his hand and ran back to Yuji's house which is also next to Kirai's house. As they enter she yells "I'm home!" after her declaration, someone can be heard shouting with a grumpy and raspy voice saying "YUJI WHY ARE YOU HERE DIDN'T YOU SAY YOU WERE GOING TO MEET YOUR FIRST FRIEND!"

"HE IS HERE! so stop shouting!" Yuji replied back to the voice as she said that a man can be seen with a gray colored kimono. he has gray colored hair from old age with a bunch of wrinkles on his face. Seeing them at the front door the old man looks at Yuji then looks back at Kirai and says "Oho.. So you were saying the truth." "Of course im telling the truth Jii-san!" Yuji says puffing her chest with her hand on it while still holding Kirai's left hand.

He leads them to the living room and orders "Go get some juice for your friend over here." Yuji stoods up breaking the hand hold and went straight to the kitchen. Kirai looks at the old man and the old man looks back at him and says "I'm Yuji's grandfather or Wasuke Itadori. You can call me old man or whatever you want. What's your name kid?" he asks then Kirai bows a bit and replies "My name is Oosuki Kirai, Ojii-san."

"Thank you kid." Kirai confused to why he is getting thanked for Wasuke then continues "for befriending my granddaughter. I thought she will never find a friend from how she acts around other kids." realizing what he meant Kirai nods. He realizes that the Yuji in the anime never had someone to lean on except his grandfather and after Wasuke dies, Yuji starts to act to what his grandfather wished for before his deathbed.

"*sigh* my granddaughter act-" Wasuke was cut off when Yuji enters the room and asks "Act what huh!?" Wasuke then smirks and says "Act so embarrassed when you were introducing Kirai yesterday!" hearing her grandfather spill the beans of what happened yesterday, Yuji turns pink a bit. she looks at Kirai then back at Wasuke but with a glare. she then ran up to her grandfather and kept punching him on his back lightly so to not hurt him.

'This old man isn't so bad. too bad I didn't get to know him more when i was watching the show..' Kirai thought about how he should make this old man happy so that he wont worry about his granddaughter much and pass on with a smile.
