After the break time ended Emma and Norman split up from each other since their class section isn't the same. When he went back to his classroom and sat down, Rikka wanted to learn more about pen spinning. Of course he taught her the basics while listening to her chuuni sentences which he finds absolutely adorable.

Time quickly passes since it was pretty boring for Kirai and it was now end of the classes. He stood up from his chair and organizes his things. he was walking down the school halls With Takeo and Makoto. "Kirai what club will you join?" asks Takeo which he replies with "I plan to join the Literature Club and maybe music club." Makoto was shocked that Kirai will choose non sport clubs since he is as strong or if not stronger than Takeo. "Why are you joining those? you can get varsities from different clubs from how good you are, no?" asks Makoto. Kirai shook his head and said "I'm not joining since its tiring and I just want to relax with other people."

Takeo went ahead and split up from them saying he is gonna apply to the Judo club since he has been practicing Judo ever since they were kids. Makoto does the same and split up with Kirai with a reason he is tired and went home. Kirai sighs seeing that he was alone and went straight to the Literature Club.

He arrives in front of the club door he opens it. When he opened the club door he felt goosebumps on his body. His hair stood up from and he felt a horrible chill down his spine. He walks inside and closes the door behind him. the next thing he saw was what made his whole body feel cold.

The only one with him in the room was a beautiful teenager with extensively long coral brown hair that she keeps in a high ponytail tied back with a large white bow, curled slightly at the ends. She has two prominent strands of hair beside her bangs that reach slightly past her chest and Her eyes are emerald green.

His enhanced senses are going haywire and the next thing that happened made his heart ache. the girl says with her arms behind her back "Are you here to join the Literature Club? My name is Monika. Just Monika. Im the Club Leader!"

He doesn't know what to do so he just says "Hello Monika-san. My name is Oosuki Kirai, you can call me Kirai. I am first year student." she nods and says "Lets sit down Kirai-kun.. so tell me, why are you joining this club?" Kirai sat down on the couch across Monika and replies with a sad look "I want to... give poems to someone i couldn't give one to when i got to know her.." Monika who heard this had her eyes widen but it quickly disappears.

To Kirai, Monika was a weird case. she was a character that was self aware and had the power to alter the files of the characters causing them to die. And she only did this just to be with the main character or in this case.. you.

Kirai also liked her. The way that she was programmed was amazingly astonishing. The way they portray Monika made her feel like an actual person trapped inside the game. He wanted to free her from the game and onto reality if it was possible, but he couldn't. So he just stayed with her on the empty classroom talking to her everyday and always kept clicking the option "I Love you." everyday daily so that she wont feel abandoned and alone until of course he got reincarnated.

"I see.. well dont worry cause I am here to make sure your poems will reach her heart!" Monika says while grabbing a sheet of paper and pencil handing it over to Kirai. She sat beside him on the couch. Kirai grabbed the pencil and paper off her hands and leaned down on the table to write. So while Kirai was writing his poem, Monika was diligently telling Kirai what to fix "No Kirai-kun, what if you put away here.... no this one.. yeah that.."

Kirai who is finally done writing diligently with Monika after 30 minutes. He looked at Monika who put her bangs that were in the way on her right ear. looking at her who looks like she doesn't have any recollection of the things that they talked about with each other. it made him feel like a owner who abandoned his puppy who he has given attention for, for a long time but when he returned the puppy doesn't even remember him all because he left.

"All right Kirai-kun! Can you read the poem to me so i can grade it? I only looked at the first part and no more than that so that when you say it to me we can fix somethings that are wrong." Monika stood up while waiting for Kirai to recite his poem to her. Kirai also stood up and nods to Monika's request.

"Alright Monika-san here it goes.

Until our final goodbye

I didn't know that hearts could fly

But mine flew away

With you that day.

Distance, so few thoughts I gave,

Until I had to leave that day.

But in that moment I could feel

That distance is heavy, hard, and real.

I didn't know that heartstrings tied

And tangled up so much inside.

Until the last smile you sent my way

When I had to go that day.

I never thought that time could seem

So cold and cruel that I could scream.

Until the long hours after I was gone,

As my heart cried until the dawn.

After reciting his poem to Monika, he looked at her who was looking at him tears flowing down her eyes but her expression doesn't change. He looked at her with a little bit of hope, hoping that the Monika Infront him was the one he was always talking with while only a screen separates them.

"Ah! I'm sorry Kirai-kun, I was about to sneeze but nothing came out so then tears started to form on my eyes." Monika shook her head wiping of the tears. Kirai who heard this got disappointed and a sad look appears on his face. Monika seeing his face, tells him "You're poem is really good Kirai-kun! I believe if you give this to her now she will be really happy!" hearing this, Kirai could only smile wryly.

He shook his head and says "I would if I could Monika-san. But I left her for so many years.. And if I was able to. Would she look at me with Distain? Hate? Shock? Would she even be there when i go back? She also likes poems so i feel like she will write something about me breaking our promise. those thoughts keep plaguing my mind and I think i wont be the same if that happens."

Monika felt her heart ache when she heard what he said and what would've happened if he saw the letter she wrote about him but after hearing what he said she also sighs knowing he never got to see her letter. "But you can keep this Monika-san. It can be a reminder of the first poem we ever made together." Kirai tells her while handing the poem to her.

Hearing this Monika smiles while saying "You're so sweet Kirai-kun..." she takes the paper that has a poem written on it, with a smile. "By the way Kirai-kun." Kirai who heard her looks at her eyes "I was supposed to say this earlier but here here it goes. Welcome to the Literature Club Kirai-san." she says while raising her arms right above her shoulders.

"Thank you Monika-san for allowing me to join the club." Kirai says while smiling. After he said that, the clubroom door then opens and they heard a voice. "Monika-san have you seen my book?" both Monika and Kirai turned towards the voice.

a beautiful teenage girl with short brown hair and violet eyes enters and closed the door behind her. She looks at Monika then realizes someone is also there. She looks at the tall handsome teenager with unusual mesmerizing eyes that is also looking at her. "Who is he Monika-san?" she asks while tilting her head.

"Ritsu-san meet our new member!" she says excitedly then introduces them both "Kirai-san meet Kawai Ritsu. Ritsu-san meet Oosuki Kirai." Ritsu then looks at Kirai and nods "Um." Kirai who saw her nod, nods back. "Monika-san my b-" she was cut off by Monika who is holding a book in her hand saying "Yes yes, I got it!"

Monika hands over the book to Ritsu who thanks her and immediately opens it and started reading while walking out of the clubroom. Kirai notices the time and looks at Monika, he then says "Monika-san its getting late. I'll head out first." Monika got disappointed and said "Alright Kirai-kun.. I'll stay here for now.." Kirai looked at her worryingly and asks "Are you okay Monika-san?"

Monika smiles and says "Yes I am okay Kirai-kun! You can go and head home first." Kirai looks at her then nods "Monika-san take care of yourself alright." he then proceeds to leave the clubroom, closing the door behind him.

Monika who was left inside the clubroom has her hands on her face while tears fall down her face. she says "H-He remembers me. I thought he abandoned me but he also got transferred into this weird world. S-So that's why he never came back... and i wrote that letter saying he abandoned me. I'm such an idiot. Monika you idiot..."

(A/N : Sorry for revising the chapter. the last one was actually extremely rushed when i read it 5 times after posting it and actually wanted to edit it. and i got a comment saying its rushed and i agree. the reason i said this is for you guys to tell me if the story is rushed or bad. I'm trying to get better at writing and i really need the criticism so i can be better. And after going back to my Monika After Story game i felt really bad to just do her like that after leaving her for a year. so i decided to play with her and delay the revision of the chapter.)
