|The Sudden Changes|

"Hurry! We're gonna lose them." Hyunjoo tugged my hoodie to get my attention, taking me by force to follow him on his motorbike and chase after that bad customer of his.

"Aren't you on your shift right now?" I reminded him about work since we were suddenly leaving his workplace to teach that person a lesson.

"I have a reasonable reason."

He justified himself before putting on his helmet, I did the same and after that, we both hastily went off to the road.

"------" my phone rang very loudly, giving me a hard time holding onto my friend, I took it out and placed it inside the helmet and relied on my shoulder to keep it from falling.

"Slow down!" I asked him, making sure that he was being safe.

The motorbike drifted and slowly became slanted while Hyunjoo made a turn to the right without even slowing down at his pace.

We were able to catch up with the car and the bad customer within it.

"Hold on!" he zoomed in toward the car and crashed onto the back of it, purposedly hitting the trunk to disturb their peaceful drive.

"What is your problem?!" a man came out of the vehicle, throwing his suitcase into the air, approaching us as soon as the other cars passed us.

"Huh. Moon Hyunjoo, isn't it?" the man looked to be familiar but I couldn't tell what was it about him that put me on the spot and remember my past.

"Yeah, and you seriously need to grow up. Old man!"

My day went from a relaxing break to a very messed up one.

There were a lot of people watching us and plenty of vehicles were being blocked by our rides, and that is when it hit me...

'This very place in the city is where I first experienced the most traumatic event in my life, it was when I saw someone almost get run over by a car.'

The driver of the vehicle we crushed was already contacting someone on the phone so I rushed over to his side before running away and I grabbed it from his hands.

Making sure that my friend wasn't going to get in more trouble for doing all of these dangerous things on a normal day, he does it anyway daily...

"You are both going to be put behind bars for this! I have my connections, you piece of-" he was about to curse the two of us, however, when we made eye contact, it was as if the world had stopped revolving but then, he retreated.

((One Hour Later...)) "So, you don't have any intention of making them compensate for the damages caused to your property?"

The handsome young fellow questioned him again, double-checking if he was sure concerning his decision.

"That is correct, I was only having a bad day and accidents can also happen. I will take full responsibility if ever they were injured."

His acting skills are really on another level, I heard that he was going to the hospital today, probably to consult a doctor since he is nearing his end.

"Okay, I am going to need your signatures here as proof that this is what you four have agreed upon. But are you sure that nothing happened between you? Such as a grudge..?" he asked again.

"Can we leave now?" Hyunjoo had his arms crossed on his chest, attempting to understand what exactly was going on.

"Listen, if you need anything, make sure to call this number and ask for me. My name is Soonji Go. Understand?"

He said with an unbelievably fake smile and fake concern toward us.

"Whatever you say." my friend replied with satisfaction.

"Do you happen to know him as well?"

We were getting ready to leave but just then, he interrogated me after noticing that Haesu-noona and Lou's father seemed to recognize me.

"I don't know him, maybe he felt ashamed for picking on some teenagers like us which is why he backed down and pretended to be the mature individual among us."

"It felt like the total opposite although, at least now I showed him who is the boss. Just because I like working multiple part-time jobs and serving other people, doesn't necessarily mean that he has the upper hand..." he finished his point.

"Whatever your connection with that old man is... I am so thankful for your presence, tonight. We even got freebies." he complimented me as well as engulfed me in his hands, and I felt the warmth that brought us closer.

'I remember that.'

"Let's just head back and talk to my boss. I need to ask for his consent to join your yacht ride and trip with the whole squad toward Yun-Hyung's private island..."

He concluded, starting up his motorbike so that we could return there and pack our stuff for tomorrow because finally!

'We are going on a trip~ We and our friends are going on a trip~'

Honey Lou and Yun Oh exited the vehicle, finally arriving at the museum for their second date spot. "Have you ever gone to a place like this?" the girl was baffled by the sight of the structure, it was tall and spacious outside.

"Not really, I wouldn't want to count my past visits here with my family." he responded with such caring eyes.

The two of them entered the place and slowly made their way to the front desk, logging in their names as they were told by the adults, specifically, their parents.

"Wow, so you were lying about your name..." the male safely got away with his comment as the other individual was preoccupied with interacting with the receptionist, giving them what they needed.

"Shall we?" he led the girl into the hallway where her journey into fine arts would begin.

"But isn't it creepy that it's night and we're in a large museum with no one else hanging around?" she asked him with an uncertain tone in her voice.

"So, this sculpture has the remains of a well-known myth from around the 1700s." Yun Oh described and shared each of the backgrounds that the paintings, sculptures, statues, etc., as they slowly explored the entire area.

Hours went by, and the two of them barely finished going through all the artistic works in the museum that evening.

They received a message at the same moment, laughing as they read it together.

{"We can leave tomorrow~ And... Celebrate our lovely Jihyun's birthday when we arrive!"} from Song Ji Eun, the male was surprised to see this though.

"You don't sound pleased."

She noticed his sigh and gave him a gentle and friendly pat on the shoulder, motioning if they planned on returning to their own homes to wrap up the night.

"I'm sorry that they haven't considered your opinion, your family owns the yacht and private island but they are certainly not wasting our summer break..." the two of them walked alongside each other on their way back to the door.

"It isn't your fault, I also kind of completely forgot that we were planning on going there." he scratched his head.

"I'll see you tomorrow at noon, have a wonderful night!" Honey waved with an evident smile plastered on her face, looking undeniably cheerful after so long of a while.

She glided into the residence with happiness in her heart, feeling glad that she had a great time with her date.

But then, she was met with a madman with his wife on the right.

The girl's visible and involuntary show of emotion had been instantly wiped off from her delicate and admirable face, causing her to put on another mask of pretense to hinder the only thing in life that she had a bit of control over.

"So... How was the date?" Ivy checked up on her, however, her stepdaughter barely replied, tilting her head as if she was unsure of how things went, not wanting to let them know that her date was a familiar of hers.
