It's been a long time.

"It looks great now, doesn't it?" Serra said with a satisfied grin. Nikki looked around the room once more and said smilingly, "Yeah."

They had been cleaning the house since morning. Serra had just finished cleaning her room.

Nikki seemed slightly distracted, as if something was worrying her. She couldn't concentrate on anything, she couldn't even finish her breakfast this morning.

"Do you need help? You're too slow!" Serra said, she has already started cleaning up with Nikki, to help her.

"It's fine, I can do it myself." Nikki said and prohibited Serra from doing anything.

"What's up with her?" Serra muttered a little, but Nikki didn't hear that.

Cling. Cling. Cling.

Suddenly the doorbell rang.

Nikki paused when she heard the doorbell. Serra walked to the door and opened it.

"Hey there!" Serra said and welcomed the person into the home.

That person walked into the house.

He paused, as he saw Nikki. Nikki glanced at him slightly, her eyes widened as she saw his face.

He was staring at her in surprise.

--- ---

His expression changed, he smirked at Nikki and said mildly, "Long time no see. It's been ten years."

"Yes, it's been a long time." Nikki said, a smile of satisfaction brightening her face. It was like, she waited eagerly to meet him all this time and finally got to see him.

... ...

'As I thought, everyone is here. This time I won't let you guys leave, it's a promise.' she thought to herself, her eyes gleamed with satisfaction.

In her dark days, she was all alone, all by herself. There was no one she could depend on. Even in her dreams, she felt darkness all around her, she could hardly sleep.

Meeting them again, was her only wish. In those terrible days, she was waiting for them to come and bring her out of the darknes.
