Chapter 2

The atmosphere in the room was heavy, Erica sleeping peacefully in bed. Her face was as pale as a blank sheet of paper. If it had not been for her faint breathing, she would seem like a person who had passed away peacefully. Llyod holds her hand tightly and appeared to be even paler than her.

"Master, the Li family member is here." Butler Jo state in a low voice after walking into the room. Llyod's eyes were darkened and swept over the rest of the people in the room. "You all may go now."

The doctors finally relieved and exited the room quietly. While Llyod stays on the side of the bed still holding her hand. And Stared at her closely and put her hand inside of the bed, before heading out of the room. But after the door was totally closed shut, the woman who was lying in the bed and fall deep asleep suddenly woke up. In the living room, Mrs. Li and Rachel stood up and waiting with their worried expression on their faces.

As Llyod get down the stairs, his presence was cauth attraction in Rachel's attention. With his tall and masculine appearance, his brown skin, as well his distinct features, he looked just like a Greek God. Meanwhile, his dark, deep and cold gaze made him seem rather wild and unrestrained which gave him a sexy devil charm.

His strong, handsome features caused him a exude a formidable and awe-inspiring kingly vide while the cold look on his vicious yet good-looking face made others fear to meet his eyes. But not Rachel's eyes she lit up with a hind of affection when she saw him.

"Brother Yang..." Rachel spoke with a sweet tone, the group of people that standing around them felt a shiver running down their spines and nearly stumbled in their footing. Then they straight their stand immediately after looking at their master's dangerous look.

Did this lady forget that their master was a married man with her younger sister? How could she try to seduce him like this in an open area without a sense of shame? Madam Li looked at her daughter and slowly stepped forward with a pleasant smile while she asked, "Son-in-law, how's Erica? Is she doing alright? Is she feeling better?"

"My wife is fine!"

"How can she be fine? Didn't she try to divorce you and when you didn't agree she commits suicide? How could she be so immature? She doesn't think about the people around her. The media is making a big deal on this event right now." Rachel said, interrupting the people who were talking. She didn't look at Llyod, so she didn't see the face of Llyod that darkened because of what she said.

"We are so sorry son-in-law. We spoiled Erica so much when she was a child. She did wrong things, for our sake son-in-law please don't blame Erica for what she has done." Mrs. Li said with an anxious look on her face. he thought.

"Indeed, she wouldn't have acted this way if it weren't for the fact that Jie Zhou, whom she missed, had return back." Rachel said.

"Are you done talking?" Llyod did not even look at them. Although what they said is true, he could not deny that he felt uncomfortable would face either one of the two outcomes. The first was death, the second option was to get lost. For Erica's sake, he should just tell them to get lost. Llyod stared at them lazily, a slightly menacing glint in his eyes.

"Erica needs rest and regains her straight, so it'd be best if you don't go upstairs and bother her. Butler Jo, see them out." He was giving a clear order for them to leave. The two women looked utterly embarrassed. Erica had done such a shameless thing and brought disgrace upon him. Why was he still being so protective of her!?

"Wait, son-in-law for what happens, Erica must have made up her mind. You should know by now she usually listens to our advice, so how about I leave Rachel here and look after Erica for a few days? That way, we can prevent her from doing anything stupid, right?" Mrs. Li said.

Llyod laughed to himself and his look grew colder, and just as he was about to speak, a frail woman's voice echoed from upstairs. "Is it Sister Rachel?"

Llyod looks where the voice came from and sees his wife standing at the top of the stairs. The Woman at the top of the stairs has messy hair but still looked beautiful. "Erica, you're finally awake." Rachel had a somewhat stiff expression on her face. However, but the time Llyod turned back to them, she looked so emotional that her tears were about to fall.

Eric's look swept over her sister and her mother and then settles on the guy who seemed rather dumbstruck. As her gaze on him, tears immediately welled up in her eyes as she called out in a trembling voice, "Honey." her tone of voice contained too much grief, guilt remorse, and many other complicated emotions. When he heard her calling out for him in such a manner, Llyod's cold heart melt.

After all, throughout their 3 years of marriage, Erica always called him on his full name. But not he was surprised she called her "Honey" and not once but twice for one day. Llyod when to the stairs to give her a hand to get down the stairs. He takes 3 steps at a time until he reaches her.

Erica looks at the man closely with tears in her eyes. This man always loved her willingness to abandon everything for her, give everything for her even his life. "Honey, hold me..." She was trying not to cry in front of him, she was stoping her tears from falling. Then, Erica opened her arms and threw herself to him, Although Llyod had promised to get diverse, he had agreed to her request. After seeing her in such a pitiful and fragile state, he could not hold himself back any longer and reached out to pull her into his arms.

As Erica takes a deep breath and inhaled his masculine scent, she can't control her emotion, and the tears that she was holding back her tears are starting to be teary. She has been reborn and sends back a few years before everything happens. Now that she was back in time, she will make everything in place and she will not be the same Erica as they knew. And the guy name Jie Zhou, they grow up together and was a childhood friend.

Even the Li family forces her to marry Llyod Yang, she gives him a cold shoulder as always fights with him all day. when they see each other. She doesn't care about his whereabouts, she doesn't care anything about him. But now that she was reborn, she will make sure that everything that happens in her past life will not be going to happen again.

In this life, she would never allow the Li family to use and make a fool of her again! This time, Erica was going to take her revenge on all that bullied her, betrayed her, and hurt her! as her eyes looked at the people downstairs, the corner of her lips lifted in a faint, devilish smile.
