Number 5: The Liquid
Strange.
Stable.
Strong.
Entropy.
Invisible.
Visible to No One except Everyone.
"Why are they so... violent?" Someone asked.
"They don't know the truth. They are scared." No One replied. But Everyone already knows why, they just won't say it.
"You have all the answers, do you, No One?" Everyone said with an attacking voice.
"But you do too. You just hate to admit the truth. You hate to admit that you are either wrong when you know it or when the truth is too harsh." No One replied with a calm yet stern manner.
"There are only and will always ever be two. Yet, why do we have three?" Someone pondered.
"For comfort." No One said with a much more critical voice. "There are three and many others because of comfort. Humans tend to hate themselves, hate others, hate ideas, hate living while also hating to die. They make more than two to find comfort in anything."
In a way, the subject matter struck as ironic. They talk about pairs and equal value; there will always be two, yet there are three of them.
"Then how about this liquid? There's only one here. The rules do not apply." Everyone said, feeling rather agitated.
But No One stayed calm.
"You know you are wrong again. You are denying it by contradicting your own statement. You want there to be more than two and try so hard to break the natural order, like breaking Yin and Yang." No One explained. "The truth is: even with something as strange as this substance, this matter also started with only two opposing forces. It's just what you see now is balance. An equal exchange of energy. Not because the matter hate one another. Not because they hate their charges. No, it is because they are together and accept each other as one."
