After that day occurred, two weeks had passed, and everyone was training like there was no tomorrow.
Also, these two weeks have been a real pain for me. There had been many people trying to get closer to me for me to sing to them.
I could see the infatuation in their eyes, and it honestly scared me. Mother really was right in telling me not to learn other songs and playing in front of them (even though I didn't know at that point).
The princess especially looked as if she wanted to gobble me up. It really sent chills down my spine.
The little prince honestly looked as if I had stolen his lover or something. I mean I could have due to that incident, but it was not intentional and if it were true, I would not know who.
And then there was the scariest thing that I heard. I heard some rumor that some kind of society was established because of me. I heard that it was some kind of society and that worshiped me or something.
That did not sound like society at all. It sounded more like a cult to me.
Honestly, I want to say that this is the worst part, but I tell you that this isn't true. After that little stunt that I pulled that day, I have been feeling as if someone were observing me.
It didn't feel like those stares I received from people. It felt as if that stare was plotting something. That stare always gave me a sense of dread.
The weirdest thing was that it felt as if that stare was coming from the sky. I tried to search for it, but I never found that person. That increased my dread. It gave me a sense of urgency. I felt like I had to leave for some reason.
I could not leave for whatever reason. If I were caught, who knows what would happen to me.
So, I would bid my time and try to search for a way to leave without anyone noticing.
Anyways, that is what happened in the two-week time skip.
Hajime had always felt useless because of his low stats. I would always try to cheer him up but would never be able to completely remove his doubts.
He would always spend his time in the library studying. You might ask, what exactly was he studying, well he is trying to increase his knowledge reservoir so he could be of some use to us.
I had let him be because that was the only way he could stay determined.
I would also sometimes join him in expanding my knowledge of magic. The reason for this was because a week ago, when I was studying different kinds of magic, something seemed to have clicked in me and I could do a few more things.
Also, the entire class had been training and our stats had improved a lot including mine.

As I said before after reading a few books on different magics, something seemed to have clicked and I unlocked a few things, although they are still locked.
There is one skill that was partially unlocked when I was reading about necromancy. I could finally read its description.
Hypnotic song (partially unlocked):
Able to influence the mind of people to a certain degree when you play a short tune. Gives a suggestion on what happened, and they agree to say it must be true.
This really was a good skill. It could aid me soon. I have a feeling that I would have to leave soon.
Anyway, Hajime and I left the library and headed to the training grounds. We seemed to arrive a bit early and just waited for training to start.
I had remembered that I left my sword in the library so I told Hajime to wait for a while because I would be back.
I left to get my sword, but when I got back, I saw Hiyama and his gang beating Hajime.
As I rushed to help him, Kaori intervened in the situation.
I sighed seeing the situation. I really wanted to kill him, but I stopped because Hajime would try to stop him, and I still had a little aversion to killing people.
Training began and we ended the day as usual. However, Captain Meld held us back because he had something to say to us.
Captain Meld – "Tomorrow, as part of your practical training, we will be going on an expedition to the Great Orcus Labyrinth. I'll prepare all the necessary equipment you guys will need, but don't think this is going to be anything like the monster hunts you've been going on outside the capital! You guys better prepare yourselves! Get as much rest as possible tonight so you're ready! That's all, dismissed!"
He kept his announcement brief, then left right after he had delivered it. I saw that Hajime stood at the end of the line of chattering students and looked up at the sky.
His expression looked very grim.
I stood there and also looked at the sky. I had a feeling that the trip towards the Labyrinth may not be as we had expected it to be.
