A Piasho Game

----I don't think I spelled Piasho right...Also I am not narrating a game of paisho, this is gonna be a conversation more or less.----

"I am impressed that you took on the Bull Sloth Alone. You even spared those earth benders while you were at it."

"yes, sir. i didn't see any point in killing them if we can interrogate them. The Bull Sloth was an accident though and it fought with some of the earth benders, I just took advantage of the situation."

"Haha! No need to be so humble! It is impressive nonetheless, now instead of giving me your report...how about we play a game of Paisho."

"i don't really know how to play sir, is that alright?"

"No problem just pull up a chair and we can teach ya."

i did exactly that i grabbed one of the stools and brought it over the low table. I was then told to grab the paisho board from the cabinet and how to set up the board. i wondered why the general wanted to play paisho, I suppose it was a pretty important game for the world of avatar. After all it was one of the main symbols of the white...

i checked General Lee's relationship card again earlier it had 3 question mark. When i check again though, I saw a new thing replacing them. I wondered how it did not dawn on me earlier, but as I read the description I knew it made sense.

"So how do we play from here?"

He began to explain the rules and how each piece worked. it was relatively simple to do and I got a decent Idea on how to play.

"So what do think of the game?"

"I like it, though I don't believe I will be able to win this."

"Fair I won't be going easy on you just because this is new to you. What do you think of the pieces however anything that stands out?"

That was a little blunt, but I went ahead.

"yeah, you seem to use the lotus tile quite a bit, is it really that important sir?"

"Haha, every piece is important, but some can prefer some pieces over others."

"I suppose it makes sense. Do many people prefer the lotus tile?"

He stared with very serious expression, did I go to far?

"I suppose so, perhaps you will have to ask other paisho masters if you every play against them. i am not that skilled compared to some of the more skilled players. Did you know General Iroh from the royal family is a faithful player of paisho?"

I did, but I tried my best to dodge the question.

"Have you ever played against him?"

"unfortunately not, I was not lucky enough to ever have the chance. Perhaps if you ever have the chance why don't you have him teach you bit more about the game."

After that we went silent slowly making moves against each other. Paisho was a game like checkers and chess merged together and a few more bits of variations. I didn't play many board games so I didn't have much experience to compare it to a different game. It wasn't much of preparation for the Agni Kai, but learning an insight about the white lotus was still pretty good.
