Waiting on the beach for the remain time was simple enough. Other people slowly trickled out of the trees and bushes. I was the first on the beach however. The fire priest trainee was already there. He had seemingly survived the time on the island.
The other prodigies, or should I say survivors at this point. Left each other alone, only interacting with a few people. A group of two, who seemed to be twins had survived. The Big Guy who was the first I met on the boat, gained two lackey's. I saw one of the starved come out eventually as well. I counted 8 on the beach. However in terms of numbers I was pretty sure there was 10. I didn't see the scarf girl, so either she died or she wasn't here yet.
Catching fish was actually extremely hard. The only fish I saw were either poisonous or tasted down right awful. Eventually I gave up on fish and just dug mole crabs from the ground. I ended up finding them through earth bending and just had Lime dig hem out. I then cooked them and we ate them. Lime refused to eat the uncooked mole crabs so I figured he either enjoyed the taste of things being cooked or something prevent him eating them uncooked.
It took some time, however the starved prodigy joined the lackey's of the big guy. Eventually however they came to harass me too.
"Wow, when I first saw you I didn't expect you would survive! However I didn't really know we would be left on an island. It's not like survival skills translates to fighting skills."
Lime grumbled and growled at him. I however just stayed where I was sitting. I was meditating still and distracting myself. Eventually I would likely have a brainstorm of ideas or something. Right now though, I was simply sitting still.
"Strength doesn't prove power either. Only with survival will you find time to conquer."
The fire priest shouted out to the Big Guy. Apparently they knew each other because the Big guy became very agitated. "Shut you mouth! You know nothing about power!"
"I am inclined to agree with the priest, pretty sure we are gonna work for the princess. You will need much more than just power to handle her. Otherwise she will likely kill you."
I was pretty sure Azula was a very fragile person. Despite the intelligence and high skill level. She went off the deep end by the end of the show. What she really needed was someone to help her. Saving Azula was an interesting thought, one I could likely debate about later. The big guy was arguing with the priest. I wasn't really paying attention to what happened after I said something.
I did have my eyes closed and was sitting in the sand. I tuned back into the argument, or more accurately the insults toward the priest trainee. "You are just a fire priest trainee. Not only is your future job worthless, but simply being a trainee makes you more useless than the actually priests."
The big guy was not very happy, i could actually see a vein pop out of his head. To think he would be so triggered over the priest. I even said something, but he focused on the priest instead. Something was certain caused by that, I didn't really care though. His two lackey's and the starved just stood by and was unsure whether or not they should stop the insults. They weren't even that bad of insults. However someone beat them two it.
"Would you just shut up!?! I can hear you all the way across the forest!"
A dark horse had come out of the bushes. A guy with s scruffy shin and torn up clothes was the new person. He wasn't injured at all and yet he looked like he was living homeless for years and got beat the shit out of him everyday. A certainly interesting combination, "We got like 2 weeks, beat him up when the princess comes to make us fight. After all if after all this we don't end up having to kill each other I will end up laughing."
Something about this new guy bugged me, he had no weapon. His clothes were terrible. Yet...his skin was clear, his hair was clean, and he had no bruises or blemishes. Not a single thing that indicated injury, except the very very faint scar tissue I could see. Several old wounds with very faint scar tissue was all over his body.
He looked at me staring at him, "Sorry mate. I don't swing that way."
"Neither do I, and you know that's not why I am staring."
"Ah, my clothes. Yes, yes, too bad I am gonna need a tailor."
"You will need much more than a tailor, later... See you around 'priest'."
The Big guy left, but left while staring down the priest who stayed in his spot. We weren't that far from each other. So I was surprised to see him actually get up and walk to the opposite side of me and sat down ways down the beach.
"Interesting people... See around...Orin."
The dark horse guy knew my name, I didn't even know the scarf girls name. I think... Point was it was odd. I went back to meditating to clear my mind.
It was likely he knew my name due to my previous actions at General Lee's camp. Maybe he had a report list of everyone's names. It could be possible he had the guest logs of the ship. Strange feelings I got though. Could he have seen me training the other elements? i was pretty sure I was always alone during the last 6 months. Besides Lime and the Wolf Bats that is...Very strange it was.
