Rooming

Once everyone was on the ship, I could hear the starved guy ask what about all the people who died on the island. He got the expected answer though, a good old. 'They weren't prodigies if they couldn't survive now could they.' Starved guy was clearly depressed about this, since he nearly starved and had to receive food from me. Some of the other people shared similar thoughts.

It was seemingly rough for them. I didn't really care that much, but I adapted quickly. Simply heading to a large room. Apparently both me and Hio were given fairly large rooms. Which made me pretty sure this was some kind of play to make everyone hate us, or for us to trust Azula more? Maybe a little bit of both, this was fine though. Since I needed a bit more room for Lime.

The bed was designed for two, while the walls were decorated with fire nation memorabilia. A bunch of banners that I took down and laid onto the floor. Might as well use them as a bed for Lime. The other garbage was left where it is, I did however looked around just encase. Looking for anything that might be considered odd. I found nothing and just chucked my bag into a corner. After pulling all the banners down I discovered a decent window thing viewing the water. Ultimately it seemed my room was at water level and if I focused I could hear the waves through the ship.

Leaving the room I walked through the ship with Lime following behind. Looking into varying rooms like a canteen. Except it seemed I wouldn't be eating here and instead found that all the prodigies ate in a backroom filled with pipes and smelling like shit. Which seemed like another tactic to demoralize everybody.

The bathrooms were nice, except it seemed I shared one with Hio. Which was sort of awkward as there was two toilets right next to each other. The a literal hand holding toilet... Twas not great. The bathroom had a stocky mirror and sink, but only one sink. It had also one large industrial shower. Honestly I had a lot of question on who the fuck design this bathroom. The whole thing was like a locker room and had either two many of something or two little of others.

Eventually I returned to my room, sitting down on the bed. Lime had laid down on the banners i throw down and we both sort of sat there. I felt like I was missing something, but I just couldn't put my finger on it...

Hio knocked on the door calling out, "Princess Azula wants to see you."

I sighed, getting up and leaving. "Where do we need to go?"

"You can just go to the back of the ship all entrances lead to her rooms."

"Rooms?"

"Yeah, she has 3 connected by stairs. It...It is really bonkers."

I couldn't tell if he was a suck up or a opportunist. Maybe if I could learn his values about the fire priests could I figure him out. If he sided with the fire nation's values of what the fire priests are...I would know my answer.

I nodded and headed off, locking my door behind me. Even if someone came by with some keys Lime would scare them off. For myself, I didn't have a key to the door, but I could ask Lime to open it for me. He was certainly smart enough for that.

Walking to the back of the ship, I learned just how big Azula's quarters were. She essentially had the whole back of the ship to herself and had access to both the...Steering wheel place of the ship and the engine room. When I knocked on the door, the servant girl from yesterday. I still didn't think she was a servant though since she had a armor just like the other soldiers. The servant person's armor though was slightly more revealing and was loose on her. It was clearly armor, but also wasn't. It was very unpractical.

"Princess Azula awaits you..."

I was lead to a room segmented into two by a curtain. Clearly the other-side of the curtain was likely her bed. "So you were waiting for me, I can see this will be a very productive relationship! What did you need? So I can repay this kindness."

She just continued on smiling giving away no emotions. However, the notification told me otherwise.

So clearly me suggesting she should wait for me more often, had annoyed her. I could likely also guess that the more I act differently then how people normally do around her. The affect on her psyche would be more impactful. There was likely more to it than that, but this was the best evidence I had right now.

She however said nothing still until I looked into her eyes. "Done with your oogling?" I blinked and realized I was staring a little low. To be exact at her chest which seemed to be a little more filled out than the show. She was the same age as me now and I was like what 15? 16? now. thinking about it, she was likely a c cup now, maybe more. Wasn't familiar with the size system of breasts. "Yeah, I done now. Thanks for waiting yet again! Specially with something so personal."

"You will be given a list of jobs to be done. Hio has also been given some. As I told him you two seem to be the most...promising for a royal bodyguard position. Despite your attitude I will take it upon myself to properly take care of you."

I nodded, "That makes him my rival in this, I suppose that is fine. However, what else am I rewarded with for doing this? As I don't really want such a position, so extra incentive would be nice. I assume the extra reward would be your humble care?"

Yet another message popped up. This one however was coupled with a pair.

The notice of -1 made this more feel like a dating sim and that I had to balance her varying relationship stats. This was also the first time I had seen a minus stat. She had also not responded, likely analyzing me and my response. From the slight twitch in her eyebrow, I knew she caught the possible deeper meaning in my response. It broke down to us staring at each other trying to figure out how to deal with one other.

I trying to figure out whether it is worth to save her or to just let her fall into ruin. She trying to understand how I work and the ways to manipulate me like everyone else. The silence was broken by her response, "If you succeed sure, however...If you fail I will personally remove your head and mount it on my wall as a stuffed trophy."

"I will do my best, and I am glad you will think about me even in my death."

Her eyes popped up on that one, i turned so she couldn't see my smile and I left the room to meet the servant person outside. Where she handed me a list of chores, that didn't drop my smile however, since the last notification was the best.
