"So what are we just gonna knock on the door?"

i looked at Mai and glared. Still had a debt to pay her, but I shrugged. "I was just gonna kick the door down and say knock knock."

"Are you serious?"

"Shut up June."

She was tied up still and laid against the wall. After last night me and Azula didn't really return for a while so. Which left June to be tied up on the floor of the inn the entire night. She was a tad cranky.

A knocking came from the door and I looked over to see Ty lee just knocking on it. My fun, ruined. A well dress man opened the door and looked our party over. He then tried to close the door without saying anything else.

Pressing my foot in between I stopped him. "Hello there."

He frowned slightly, "Do you have a reservation with the beifong family?"

Azula pulled out a ornate metal badge. Which got the door man to pause. "Give me a moment please."

He stumbled away into the large courtyard. "What's that badge?"

"What do you think?"

I shrugged, "Just a bit bored."

The doorman came back and tried to close the door again. "The Beifong residence will not see you at this time."

Azula scoffed, "Orin?"

I slammed the door off its hinges. Shattering the hinges and part of the wall. Stepping into the courtyard the Door man ran backwards while blowing a whistle. Several guards came running forward with spears.

Though it didn't mean much. It wasn't even a fight, I felt bad for them. After a few punches, kicks and thrown knives. They were all on the ground. "So that was pathetic."

"What did you expect?"

I shrugged looking at Mai. "Just sort of, I don't know."

Azula was already wlaking into the mansion? palace? plantation? Honestly I had no idea what to call their home. Picking June up again i followed the girls inside. "Couldn't you have just left me at the Inn?"

I dropped June and picked her up again. "Nah, sure you would've escaped somehow."

She looked very unhappy, almost unhappy as the man who greeted us when we entered the front building. "GET OUT! BEFORE I HAVE YOU ALL ARRESTED!"

"The fact you are giving us a warning after we just beat up your... 8 guards? Mai how many was it?"

Mai played along with Azula, "It was 12 actually."

Azula then continued, "Ah, they were so weak I must've miscounted. Now let's see your name was..."

I saw Azula gesture to me and I took the que. "Jao? No wait its Lao Beifong."

Lao Beifong struggled to not get any angry. Azula took to the lead again. "I wonder what the earth kingdom royalty would do if they knew about your business dealings. With the fire nation? Ah wait, they already know you finance both sides of the war don't they?"

He gritted his teeth, "You!" he let out a sigh, "Why?"

Taking the lead, "Well number one is money, number two is your daughter, three is well also technically your daughter?"

"*Why do we want his daughter again?*"

I leaned over to Ty lee, "*She's a master earth bender. Remember how I talked about Full element benders?*"

Ty Lee nodded, getting back to the dealings. "Of course this isn't a one sided deal. Let me just drop June again." Dropping her with a thud, I pulled out some papers. "Blue prints, you can look them over."

Lao Beifong snatched the papers from me and stared at them. Shuffling through them one by one. Ultimate Azula decided which ones I was allowed to actually pass around. She felt giving the blueprints to pistols and Gatling guns were a bit much. Though at the end of the day pretty sure Mai ended up with those.

"These are... I will need professionals to look over these. I will concede these are incredible. To the point of me wishing you have more." He breathed in, I knew why he said that. He hoped I had something for blindness.

"There is no invention to cure her blindness."

I gripped the papers tightly. "What is it you want from her!"

Azula nodded to me and I continued. "Alliance mostly. You see we have some things we need to talk about in private."

He looked a little confused and Azula gave him a smile. "This isn't about an alliance with the fire nation mind you. Just us, so. Would you kindly let us in?"

----Toph pov-----

Mom tried to push me into my room when Shin told us about a guest. I wasn't gonna miss this though so sneaking around I listened in. It didn't take long for me to recognize the voice of one of the women.

Listening in more I nearly shatter the wall in anger. Finally when the time comes for me not to be overprotected. I am being sold of for some alliance? I couldn't believe some stupid scraps of paper made my dad even think about this.

Gritting my teeth I followed them to my dad's office. I wanted to kno- "*Toph?"*"

I nearly jumped when Mom came out of no where. I was to distracted, Mom spoke first though. "*We will talk about this later young lady. Right now, let's just keep listening.*"

Oh, it seemed mom thought the same.

-----This one is cut short for the sake of next chapter, which will be technically a time skip of sorts. it will be slightly confusing, I'll try to make it clear. Oh and... Its a sokka chapter. ------

-----Edit:Don't worry no guns, its a jab at the mother of invention troupe. As well as a jab at the fact Korra went from ATLA to mechs to Spirit nukes. So don't worry no guns, just a few mentions and jokes.-------
