----Ty lee pov----

Rubbing my eyes I woke up first after last night's uh...

Leaving the three to sleep I walked down stairs. Orin had put a lid on the soup he made last night and I figured I would have some more now. Taking out another wooden bowl I laid it out. I started the fire so the soup would reheat and I stretched as I went over to my bag. Digging through to get one of my other outfits.

Pulling out a set of clothing for the other three would help everyone be ready for the day. So I did just that, laying out their clothes I looked to my own. Thinking about it, I decided against the underwear. I could put some one if needed, but for now! I gave a twirl and felt the nice breeziness.

A clatter behind me nearly spooked me, but I found out it was Lime. For some reason he was curled int he corner beneath the stairs. Walking over slightly he was shivering and was staring out the window.

"Lime, are you okay buddy? When di-did you...."

I dropped to my knees as i saw what he was staring at. Outside was misty and it just went on and on and on and on and...

----Mc pov----

I blinked as I pulled myself from he hardwood floor. It seemed I was kicked out of the bed by Mai and Azula. I thought Ty Lee would be there too, but it seemed she woke up ebfore me. I stretched slightly as I realized I had a status notification.

It came as a shock to see the system give a straight warning. It was a tad playful giving me notes like someone's watching me or even protest against my diet. Except this actually flashed red and simply read don't look outside. There were no windows up stairs so I slowly made my way down. The system created a black blob to block the window at the far front.

I could move it, but the warning seemed serious. I accpeted its choice to block my view and looked around more to find Ty lee just standing there. Closing in she was shivering and mumbling. grabbing her i broke her line of sight with the window and she freaked.

"AGHIGY!" She punched me in the throat and fell backwards. "Oh, I'm sorry Orin I was... What was I, Wait orin, don't look out the windows!"

Nodding I pulled the curtains, "Thanks for the advice, but I already noticed." Once they were all closed I stepped over to Lime who was shivering. I rubbed his head and used a little eternal life on him. With a scratch at his chin he seemed back to normal.

He had 9 different eyes and each had locked onto a different window. It seemed whatever was out there was something nutty. Turning to Ty Lee, "What did you see out there?"

She blinked and shivered slightly, "I don't know it was just misty, but it just seemed. Infinite."

Huh, how lovely. That made literally no sense. I stepped toward the door as I opened it slightly. Ty lee jumped to stop me, but I grabbed her. "Don't..."

A slow mist creep into the house and I closed the door. The mist then trailed off as it was disconnected. A black familiar powder formed on the ground as the mist vanished. Iron dust, the same from outside.

"How creepy..."

What in the non-christian fuck was this shit? I was not one to believe in god or whatever the fuck. I just thought everything had its place, but this had some weird vibes for me. Except it was obvious what the hell this was.

"i'll be right back."

Ty lee looked at me, "Wh-what?"

I stomped shattering the wood floors, then falling through the ground. Making a tunnel of lava and rock I slid through the world. Surprisingly I had a really high fire resistance so tunneling like this was super efficient. I popped my head around and looked toward the town.

I saw the mist floating around. More specifically what was causing the mist. Thousands of some kind of rodent were digging through the earth. The dust was basically what amounted to either spores or shit. Staring into the black mass it made me felt awful.

It just went on and on and on. Or more specifically the endless crawling of them. I crawled back into the earth as I really did not want to keep staring at that. Exiting from my orgianl entrace I looked at Ty lee and the other two girls who came down stairs.

"Orin you figure out what it is?"

"He's like a mole."

I flipped Mai the bird before answering Azula. "So I assume its a spirit of some kind or fuck if I know. Basically a whole ton of rodent looking things that just eat and might shit iron. If you look at them to closely, they seem to have some kind of... let's go with fear effect. Basically you lock up and stare into the mass of them until I assume you are swallowed by them alive."

Mai spoke first, "Oh great, add this one in my bucket list."

Azula sighed, "The carriage?"

I had to think about that one. Recalling my glance from outside the town. "Fucking rodents ate my jerky."

A second later the door creaked. Azula turned to me, "Start digging, your jerky saved our lives it seems."

I frowned, "I'll make the hole big enough grab everything you can."

Lime crawled over trying to bury himself into the hole. Pushing him away I kicked out my tunnel making room. Lime then pushed past me to curl up. Thank god I keep my bag on his back, instead of on the side.

Note this awful town down, as either do not visit or have someone else fix it. Most likely Aang maybe? It would be a good excuse, make up a whole thing about a grey goo event and epidemic to make sure he gets the job done. Unless he dies...

That would be bad, i ducked into the Tunnel more carving it out. Eh, best to save this problem for later and just say it is what it is.
