Coming out of vegetative state

“What?”

Dr. Quinn’s eyebrows creased deeply. It was nearly two months since Lisa woke up from the coma but during this time span, she never passed out before. Then why did this happen? Without a word, he headed to the ward.

Once he came to the ward he asked Lily to put on the EEG and attached the electrodes on Lisa’s head. Lily quickly followed the instruction and Dr. Quinn started observing her brain activity. Her neurons were constantly firing. There was a half-smile on Dr. Quinn’s face but slowly it replaced by a scowl. He looked down at Lily and asked sternly “What happened before she passed out?”
