Chapter 9: The Hero Association

After the people left, Saitama change into his favorite white hoodie with red on the sides while the word 'Oppai' was written on the front of the hoodie. He then left his apartment and headed to City A.

While he was running at a breakneck speed, he killed a few Monsters on the way. After he arrived at City A, Saitama walked the rest of the way.

As he opened the door, Saitama was greeted by female staff. "Hello, you must be Saitama. Please follow me." She said as Saitama just listened to her a followed behind.

Ting!

He heard the Elevator after the door opened and went inside it with the lady. A few seconds later, they arrived at the top floor and exited the Elevator as he followed the lady again. As he was walking down the long hallway. Saitama finally saw an enormous door which the lady knocked on and said "Minister, you have a guest."

Not long after, they heard a faint voice. "Enter." which after, the lady opened the door and gestured at Saitama to walk inside. "So, you must be Saitama." the man said while examining his whole body. 'though, I did not expect it to be a kid.'

"Please sit." the man said, which Saitama just nodded and sat in the chair. "I am going straight to the point. Saitama, please join the Hero Association." the man said. "Hm, let me think about it," Saitama said.

"Please take your time." A few minutes later and Saitama finally said something. "Alright I will join you, but I have a condition." He said. "Yes, yes, please tell me your condition."

"My condition is simple. Just hide my identity until I become an adult," Saitama said. The man confusingly said, "Why? wouldn't you want to be famous?" he said.

"Sir, that is the exact thing that I am avoiding." the man just stared at his blank face before nodding. "Alright, we will test your battle prowess before deciding what number in S-Class you will be. I already saw how strong you are, but I just want to make sure."

"Oh, right, I forgot to tell you my name. I am Sitch the Minister Officer of Justice in HA."

Saitama just nodded before the same lady earlier entered the office and said to follow her to the testing grounds. Sitch also followed them to see his strength with his own two eyes.

As they instructed Saitama to change his clothing, he removed all the things that he was wearing and only wore a sports brief.

"Alright! side-to-side jumps for 30 seconds! Ready! Go!" As Saitama heard him, his usual bored and carefree self suddenly turned serious, he did the side-to-side jumps which the man couldn't even count how many times Saitama did it for because all he could see was an after-image of Saitama.

After that, Saitama did a 1500 Meters run which he ran about double the amount in less than 5 seconds. And after that was Weight-Lifting. Well, of course, it was already obvious from the start that he would destroy these records.

After the test was done, Saitama approached Sitch with a dumbfounded look on his face. 'I should have expected that from him, considering that he destroyed a part of the City.' Sitch thought. "A-ahem, I guess that proves you worthy of the S-Class Rank."

After that, Saitama change back to his favorite hoodie and waited for the results. After 30 minutes of waiting, Saitama finally received a brown envelope. As he opened it, he slowly took out the paper. And they did not disappoint Saitama with the results.

He got S-Rank 5 with the Hero name of Unknown because he specifically requested for it to be anonymous.

He then heard the speaker in the room call his name saying that Sitch was looking for him and said to come to his Office.

Knock Knock Knock*

Saitama knocked on the door before coming in. "Alright Saitama, the reason that I called you here again was to give this card to you which where all the money that you earn will go."

Saitama just nodded his head and left the room. As he was walking on his way home, of course, that he'll meet some Monsters on his way. And the Monster currently in front of him was a threat-level-Dragon.

Saitama had heard the warning earlier and just ignored it but got his first call from HA telling him to kill the Monster. Saitama was not it the mood to experiment with the Monster so he just threw a right jab at it, not even letting the Monster introduce himself.

After he finished the job, he called HA and told them he already took care of it. "Alright thank you for you work Saitama, the Money that you earned today will be transferred to your account immediately." the man behind the call said before hanging up.

As Saitama was looking at the Money he just made. He can't help it but be baffled at just how much he made from killing one Dragon Level Threat. 'Jesus, I made a LOT just from that one monster. But I thought the pay was monthly?' Saitama thought to himself.

He then walked his way home again. But not before buying a gaming console, of course, because he was getting bored as heck at home with nothing to do but watch the TV all day or read some manga.

As he was choosing what console to buy, he chose the one made by 'Sopny' heh because it was the cheapest. "That will be 113,400 Yen Sir." The Cashier said 'Heck, it's still expensive.' Saitama thought to himself while looking at his bank balance.

'Well, considering that money won't be a problem now. Then this is pretty cheap. I guess.' As he exited the Games Shop, he encountered a terrorist group. (which name I won't even say because I am a lazy author.)

'What the fuck? Do I attract trouble or something?' Saitama couldn't help but think to himself. As he saw one of the Members was holding a Katana-like sword. Saitama grew interested in it and thought. 'Hm. should I change my battle style and use some weapons?'

He then sneaked his way through the Terrorist without them noticing before he grabbed the Member that has a Katana in his hand and knocking him unconscious. After that, he grabbed his Katana then swing it.

Of course, as he did, he accidentally cut some Trees that were nearby. 'Well, that's a surprise.' he thought as he swung it towards the terrorist, cutting their hands and legs. But he did not kill them.

As he was finishing the job. Saitama threw the katana in his hand to the ground before leaving. This time, he did not get interrupted by any more Monsters or Terrorist Groups.
