Archeologist Maelyn Khadim discovers a crystalline onyx dragon statue during a archeological project that infuses her with a system to help her transform into the dragon she was born to be and assume her place as Queen of her homeland's kingdom.

"You ever think she might be at least a liiitttllle bit right?!" Kathy asked with a laugh then told her, "But please do tell my Aunt that I would LOVE to let her train me!"

"I don't have to tell her." Maelyn explained with a smile, "She can hear and see what I can."

"Ah. Ok." Kathy responded in surprise. Then, addressing the Queen, told her, "It is my honor to welcome back to your kingdom Aunt Lani. And I promise to help you prepare Maelyn for her time as Queen before she gets to the crystal dragon and has to fight with the Alwuzars to let the right person ascend to the throne so Altinyn can start to rebuild more than Maelyn and Abjul have been able to do so far."

"Geesh!" Maelyn exclaimed as Kathy finished and told her, "It's weird having you talk about me while talking TO me but knowing you're not talking to ME! I guess I'm gonna have to get used to that when talking to folks that know about the Queen."
