A Good Replacement

"Ok! Ok! I'll admit it!" Harmon tearfully admitted, "it was REAL! But you also gave me a burn severe enough that I am now going to need to find someone that knows the healing magic!"

"But what happened to your assertion that all of my magic was due to trickery with my devices?" Maelyn asked sarcastically, "Cause it's awfully ironic that you all of a sudden believe in it now that you need it!"

"I was WRONG okay?! Can you now heal my arms?!" Harmon demanded, "Because with those burns making them blister up and turn as red as a lobster this pain is killing me!"

"I have a better idea," Maelyn informed him as she motioned to those Congressmen that could see her and Harmon, "How about I use my magic to heal you BUT only enough to ease the pain so that it will leave the scars to remind you of how powerful a woman with knowledge and determination can reach this level without depending on a man to get her there like you obviously have falsely believed."
