Miguel's

I saw how shocked she was when I said I wanted her to date me.

I chuckled.

But I'm also embarrassed. I don't even know why I said that. I think I'm going crazy.

She looked at me and I faked a laugh.

"Chill. I'm kidding." I saw that she felt relieved and smiled at me.

She took a deep breath and fixed her hair then sipped on her drink.

Maybe she was nervous too.

I cleared my throat. "Sorry. I didn't mean that."

'No. What I said is true..' I told myself.

"Oh, It's okay. I was just shocked by what you said." She chuckled.

I love seeing her like this. Smiling and Laughing.

She cleared her throat and looked at me.

I raised my brows.

"So? Are we friends now?" She said and smiled cutely.

I sighed and smiled at her.

"Mhm. Friends." I said and she smiled widely.

"Let's take a selfie!" She said and took her phone out.

I had no choice so I just smiled.

"One more!" She said.

I chuckled. I did the peace sign and smiled again.

"Done! Can I post this?" She asked and sipped on her drink.

"Sure. Don't forget to tag me." I said and took my phone out.

Felice sent me a message.

is your date over? we'll have dinner later, don't forget, please :)

I looked at the time. It's already 4 pm.

"Hey.." I called her.

She looked at me. "Yes?"

"I'm sorry but I have to go.."

She immediately stood up and picked up her things.

She faced me. "Sure. Thanks for today!"

I was surprised when she suddenly hugged me and pinch my cheeks.

"Y-yes, Thank you too." I'm stuttering because of her, fudge.

"Take care!" She waved her hand before going out of the cafe.

I immediately looked for a taxi back to our hotel so I can rest and freshen up.

"Hey, son." Dad greeted me when I entered the room.

"Where are the two?" I said, referring to my Mom and Sister.

Dad chuckled. "They go to the salon. They wanted to look good later."

I nodded.

"By the way, some of our relatives here will come later," Dad added.

"Okay, Dad. I'll just take a shower."

After showering, my Mom and Sister hasn't arrived so I took the chance to pick my outfit for tonight's dinner.

I chose my white open collar polo shirt and beige pants and paired them up with my leather loafers.

While I was getting ready, Mom suddenly came, my sister is behind her smiling. They were already dressed.

"Woah. My brother's looking good." Felice said and winked at me.

I act like I was disgusted so she glared at me and I laughed.

I turned to Mom and smiled at her.

"You look beautiful, Mom," I said and fixed her hair a little bit.

"Aw. Thank you, son." She said and smiled at me.

I excused myself so I can get my accessories and fix my hair.

I wore my gold and silver necklace and the watch my grandma gave me a few years ago. After that, I fixed my hair and sprayed my favorite perfume all over my body.

The door opened and I saw Dad.

"Hey, let's go." He said and looked at us.

"Okay, let's go." My mom said and went out with my sister.

I just took my cardholder and went out as well.

We're heading to River Cafe because my sister already reserved a table for all of us.

"Who's coming with us, Mom?" I asked my mom.

"Your Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle, and Aunties." She said while typing on her phone.

I nodded even though she will not see it.

After a few minutes, we finally arrived. I fixed myself first before going out.

I saw my Grandparents first so I hugged them both.

"Aw. We missed you, Miggy." Grandma said and pinched my cheeks.

"You're so tall," Grandpa said and we both chuckled.

After having a little chit-chat with my grandparents, my mom called me. She's with my aunts.

"Oh, Is this Miguel? You're so tall!" Aunt Zia said.

"Yes! He's taller than me!" Mom said and smiled at me.

I smiled at Aunt Zia and turned to my favorite Uncle.

"Uncle Teo! I missed you!" I said and hugged him.

"Migs!" He said and hugged me back.

"Where's Kael and Desirae?" I said, referring to my cousins.

"Oh, they just got home from school." Uncle Teo said and I nodded.

I noticed that Auntie Shianna and Uncle Seb isn't here so I went to my Dad to ask. He's talking with my GrandParents.

"Excuse me," I politely said and bowed to my Grandparents and grabbed my Dad.

"Yes, son?"

"Where's Auntie Shianna and Uncle Seb?" I asked.

"Oh, we'll meet them tomorrow at their place," Dad answered.

"They cannot come because Shianna just gave birth." He added.

My eyes widened. "Really?!"

"Yes! It's a boy. His name is Jaden." He chuckled.

"Let's go! The tables are ready!" My sister said so we went inside.

I was about to raise my hand to call the waiter but my sister stopped me.

"Uh-uh. I already ordered." She smiled proudly.

rolled my eyes and took my phone out to message Elleiana on Instagram.

: Hi. How are you? I'm having dinner with my family.

After a few minutes, she replied.

I smiled when I view the photo she sent.

A picture of her smiling while enjoying her food. How cute.

I was about to reply when Grandma called me.

"Miggy,"

I looked at her. "Yes, Grandma?"

"Why are you smiling? Are you talking to your girlfriend?" She said and smiled sweetly.

I looked at my parents and they were both smiling, the same as my sister.

My face heated so I looked down.

"Oh, he's blushing!" Auntie Shianna said.

"Who's that lucky girl?" Uncle Teo asked.

I looked at all of them and smiled.

"She's not yet my girl..."

I saw how their smile faded. I was laughing internally.

"So... you're courting her?" Grandpa asked. I shook my head.

"Nope. Not yet." I said and smiled.

"When will you court her? When she already has a boyfriend?" My Dad said so I looked at him.

"Of course not. I'm just looking for good timing to ask if I can court her." I said and they all smiled.

"What if someone is already courting her? What will you do?" My Aunt asked.

I cleared my throat.

"That's okay. I will continue courting her. So that if ever she chooses other guys, at least I proved to her that I was sincere and I showed her how much I love her." I said and they were all in awe.

"But..I promise that I will do my best for her to be mine."
