Chapter 8

"Sure" I said as he extended his hand for me to take. I gently took his hand and he led me to the dance floor.

"So what's your name?" he said as he moved with the rhythm of the music.

"Nico, what's yours?" I said trying to make a conservation.

"Leo"

"You attend Pestern Vike high" I asked.

"Yeah but I hate it there. I was going to ask you to tell me about yourself but I will start so I am 18 and am smart and have a hot body" he said and I just gave him a blank stare.

"Stop complimenting yourself leave that to me" I said with a smile.

"Yes ma" he said playfully which made me laugh. I turned and saw Jaiden fuming with anger.

What's wrong with him?

Nevermind.

"I go to the same school and I am 17"

"Why don't I see you there? "

"Started few weeks ago" I said as the song changed.

We talked a bit more and took a break from dancing. We became friends and exchanged numbers. I excused myself when I saw Eve alone so I walk up to her, she's looked sad. "Want some fresh air?" I asked her.

"Sure" she stood up and followed me to the balcony.

We passed some people making out and some stuff like that, when Eve just opened one of the room so she could use the toilet. She shut it back with anger and disgust and she ran far down into the hall.

What...?

I opened the same door and found Jay on the bed with some girl Lancy or so. Who the heck fucks someone in a highschool party?

Million dollar question, does Eve like Jay?

Damn.

He is the worst player among the four and she fell for him. I was about to run after her when Jaiden stopped me and asked a stupid and annoying question.

"Why did you dance with Leonard?" he said with a stern look.

"I really have to go and fix your friend's head, Jay. It's messed up" I said about to leave when he grabs my waist. He leaned closer as my breath hitched.

"W-what are you doing" I stuttered as his eyes look at my lips.

"You look hot tonight" he smirked as I blushed.

I turned around and ran towards the direction Eve went.

Don't ask how I manage to run in heels.

"Eve! Eve! Eve!" Where the hell is she?

I stopped when I saw her on the balcony looking out.

"What happened out there?" I said as the wind hits me. The view of the city is kind of nice here though.

"Nothing"

"You are a bad liar"

"Not lying"

"Do you like Jay" I asked suddenly to see her expression and the answer in her eyes. But all I could see was disgust and slight... lust.

"No" she said firmly.

"At least I am not that stupid to like him cause, I know his a player and he doesn't like to date just hump and dump" she said without sparing me a look.

"That's a lie, people change for love, you know"

''No I don't know and also don't believe in that bullshit, love"

"Yes you do, you are just angry and upset cause you saw him with Lancy. You can't admit it to yourself but you have feelings for him" I told her.

"What should I then do, I don't want to have this feelings for him" she asked on the verge of crying. I gave her some good advice that I didn't even i had in me to say and we went back downstairs. We took few shots together to cheer her up. We turned around and saw Daniel and Jessy having a good time together. I mean a really good time.

We laughed it off cause we knew we were going to tease her about it later.

"Nico I need to talk to you" Jaiden commanded.

"You can ask not order" I said as he shoots a glare.

"Eve I will be back soon" I said glancing at her.

"No take your time" she said with a smirk. Wasn't she just crying few minutes ago.

"What's it?" I asked him.

"Why did you dance with Leonard?"

"He asked me and why are you acting so jealous?"

"Am just looking out for you and am not jealous"

"In my defense why did you leave the class when I kissed Lora."

"I didn't like the subject, so I left the class" I lied easily.

He came closer and whispered "it is a lie"

"Anyway, what did you mean by I should fix my friend's head" he said with a laugh.

"He needs it so go fix it" I said causally and walked out.

Dammit, my head hurts. I had so much alcohol last night and I don't even remember coming home last night.

We are going on that trip today. Shit! I didn't tell Eric or dad. You know i hardly see him at home. Which is weird.

I picked my phone and texted my dad about the trip, I will tell Eric downstairs. I picked the things needed for my trip and took the small box out of my room and hurtled into the bathroom to take a quick shower and dress up for the trip.

"Morning Eric, am going to a school trip today, sorry for the late info"

"Okay, but did you tell dad?''

"Yeah" I said as I took a sausage from his plate.

"Hey, get your own food" he glared at me. He is definitely one of those people that don't mess with their food.

"Why is dad hardly around this days" I said as I poured orange juice in a glass for myself.

"I am not sure but I think it is work" he shrugged as I grabbed a fork and took an omelette from his plate.

"That is it, get out of this house" he shouted as I chuckled. I took a bottle of water and ran outside fortunately my headache stopped. I called a cab already, really not sure if Eric will want to give me a ride after stealing his food.

"Hey guys" I said to Nacy, Eve and Jessy.

"Hey" they replied back.

"I have a feeling this trip will be stressful" Jessy said with a groan.

"It is Physical health education, what do you expect" Eve said with a smile. She is literally the only girl I know that enjoys PE.

"Let's go people!" the teacher shouted.

"Where are the boys?" I asked.

We see expensive sport cars drive in at the same time and they each came out looking like some stars or something. Their entrance always has to be extra doesn't it.

"Yo" Mike said smirking looking at us.

"Shall we" Nacy said as I chuckled at the glare Mike passed her.
