"Well at least whatever cut you wasn't laced with anything, and it's all healed up, with just a little bruising it should be gone in about a week but in your case, it could take any time from a few hours to three days depending on how strong you are physically." Fixing my skipper I thanked him. With a faint whistle signaling the pot of water was boiling the elderly woman got up and excused herself.

Looking around the room I noticed how many different decorations were around the room, ranging from family portraits to vases of freshly cut flowers, with a tap on the shoulder I was torn away from my thoughts. Lifting my head I was greeted with a big cup of coffee and a few cookies, thanking her I closed my eyes and took a deep breath savoring the smell of freshly brewed coffee.
