CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE

I grimaced as the adrenaline started to fade and the result of my pride started to throb and sting, my body was weak having taken many strong individuals in less than an hour and the fact the I still hadn’t mastered my powers.

I thrashed in her hold hoping to throw her off me and run, but if anything, she tightened her hold on me “Snip reporting, I have the target. I repeat I have the target. Location floor sixty-three” she said sternly, and I glanced at her from my view on the floor, there was some electronic thing on her ear shell.

“Let me go dammit!” I demanded thrashing some more making her apply more pressure to my arms and I involuntarily gasped as the crack echoed around us just as the right elbow started throbbing, my right elbow moved out of its socket, and I was exhausted that my muscles felt so heavy.
