Chapter 7: Memories
3rd Person's POV
"Is everything went on plan?" Leon asked.
"Yup, mother already took the pill."
The crowd sighed with relief and walked back to their business.
Meanwhile~
At the palace, The king and his subordinates are on a meeting when an old man suddenly interrupted it.
"Arthur!!! I already told you to not summon the heroes! Now look! Because of the fluctuations in the space, Sloth's awakening was shortened a lot!" An old man with white robe and a long staff in hand shouted at the king.
King Arthur was shocked at the old man's voice and he said, "What! Uncle Troy, how many years will it be to complete his awakening?"
"It was shortened by 3 years you dimwit!! Now, how will you plan on fixing this?!"
"WHAT?!" All the people in the room exclaimed at the same time with disbelief.
"So there's only 3 years before he awakens."
The nobles fell on chaos. They are now scared because Sloth's awakening had shortened. They want to blame someone for shortening the awakening but they don't have the power to do it.
"Calm down everyone! Now let's prioritize the training of the heroes and power up the military." The king said and his subordinates nodded their heads.
"Minister Frion, raise the taxes for our military use. General Carion, recruit soldiers and C rank and above adventurers and make the training stricter for the soldiers. Duke Fillia, send a message to the headmaster of the Liryo Academy that we will need to prepare for the war with the demons within 2 years..."
The King gave each of his subordinates a task to prepare for the war in 2 years.
"The king has to raise the tax for our kingdom's military use, because Sloth's awakening was shortened by 3 years! If you have nothing to pay for the tax, you will have give your men to the military, they have to 20 years old and above." The Minister announced to the public.
The news of Sloth's awakening shortened by four years caused an uproar to the whole kingdom. The poor citizens didn't have a choice but to give their men to the military.
While on the palace, the heroes training became harder and stricter because of the news. They sometimes went to a nearby dungeon to train with the soldiers.
Mepa Village~
Aki was in the orphanage still sleeping, his facial expression sometimes changes into happiness, sad, fear etc...
One after another flashes of memories was being played in his dreams.

A petite young man was running in the hallways. He wore a rugged ripped clothes that only covers his lower part and his chest.
"You! Comeback here you slut!" A soldier said while trying to catch the young man with other three soldiers.
A soldier throws a sword scabbard to the young man and he was hit in the back of his knee that made him fall on the ground.
The young man tried to stand up but his hair was caught by a large hand.
"You slut! You dare to run away?! In your dreams!" The soldiers said and then they dragged the young man back to a room.
"Please! Let me go! I'm begging you!" The young man kept begging the soldiers to let him go but the they didn't care about it.
When they entered the room, the soldiers throws the young man into the bed and got a rope to tied the young man's hands and feet at the end of the bed.
Suddenly a drunk fat man wearing an expensive robe, walked towards the tied young man. The soldiers saluted at the fat man and then they left the room and guarded the room door.
"Hahaha! I'm gonna enjoy you tonight!" The fat man said.
The young man was full of tears and remembered his traitorous lover.
Two man was holding both arms of the petite young man, while an another man was laughing.
''You thought that I liked you? Hahaha! Your just a toy to play with! How can I like a man like you! I desired woman! And lastly thanks for the money you raised hahaha!!!''
''Vin! Don't you dare touch the kids!'' The petite young man said with anger to the man in front of him while trying to break away from the hands that was holding him down.
''Of course, I dare.'' The man said and then walked out.
The two man made the petite man sleep and dragged to a carriage and brought him to a noble house.
Now the petite man was being tortured by a drunk man in a room. The young man cried and moaned in pain, he kept on begging the man to stop but instead of stopping the drunk man increased his speed.
The young man was ravaged and tortured by the drunk man. After he was done, he called some soldiers to have some fun too.
After two days of being tortured, the young man can't bear it anymore and died out of his injuries and hunger.
The young man's body was thrown at the back of a mountain, they left the body to rot in their and they didn't even bury it.

A young man was on a forest when he stumbled upon a baby elf, he took the baby and raised it.
The young man helped the kids on slums and the ones that was abandoned.
The young man protected the children, he taught them how to read, write, fight and many more.
The children grew up but the young man didn't.
The past quite and solemn orphanage grew into a village→ town→ city→ kingdom.
The past orphanage that was only full of children is now a kingdom with different kinds of races that lives in it.
But the happy days were meant to be destroyed. The kingdom was attacked by the selfish kingdom of humans.
The kingdom was destroyed, some of the citizens were dead, some are caught to be slaves.
Everywhere you look, you will only see a sea of fire, swallowing the kingdom.
You will hear the screams and the whispers of the citizens who are being burned and the cries of the slaved citizens.
The selfish king watched the scenery in front of him. He felt delighted at the scenery in front of him.
The selfish king killed a young man in front of slaved citizens.
The slaved citizens was full of anger and grief, because the one who was killed was their adopted mother/father.
The one who took care of them without any prejudice in any races.
The one that gave them another chance to live and to see the world.
The only one who loved them when they are abandoned by their own parents, was now in front of them, still smiling kindly even when the sword separated his head
from his body.
When the humans left the burned kingdom, only a small orphanage left, it was only slightly burned.

After three days of sleeping, Aki woke up from his sleep.
He looked around and saw twelve people standing in front of him.
"Good morning mother!" The twelve people said at the same time.
Aki burst into tears when he saw the people in front of him. The twelve people saw him crying and they started to comfort him.
Aki has now calmed down and looked at the twelve people in front of him.
"You kids! You even exhausted your soul energy just to wait for me?!" Aki ask.
The twelve people felt embarrassed and just scratched their heads.
"But we still have three days before we disap—" Diana was cut off of her speech because she was interrupted by the other people.
"Diana!" The eleven people shouted at the same time.
Diana stopped her mouth and looked at Aki. Aki's face gave a cold look at the people inside the room.
"So only three days huh." Aki coldly said.
The people inside the room, felt that the room was getting colder.
"Mo-mother w-we can explain p-please don't be mad at us." Theo said while trying to ease the atmosphere in the room.
