Chapter 21: Surprise (3)

3rd person's POV

After an hour of travelling, a man suddenly shouted. "We are only 1 kilometers away from the forest."

The crowd's blood boiled in excitement, they all made the horse run even more faster by boosting them with their mana. The horses became energised because of the mana and run even more faster.

On the other side, Aki was just about to sprinkle some water in the strawberry plants when he sudden felt the ground was shaking. He hurriedly went to the front of the orphanage, there, he saw many carriages racing towards him.

The people saw Aki running and then he stopped and was stunned when he saw them.

"SURPRISE MOTHER!!!!" the people all yelled.

They hurriedly stopped all the carriages and rush to Aki.

"Surprise!!!" They said again.

Aki felt shocked at what he was seeing. "Hunter is that you?" Aki asked to a manly Elf in front of him.

"Yep!" The Elf happily answered.

"How about me mom?" A short girl in a red hoodie excitedly ask.

"Red! You didn't grow even a little bit! HAHAHAH!!!" Aki patted the little girls head and said jokingly.

"Mother! How can I grow taller if I'm a half dwarf?" The crowd began to laugh.

Then suddenly Leona and Tim came out of the orphanage to see the crowd outside. "WHA— Brother Randolf is that you?!" Leona said in shocked.

A dark haired young man suddenly turned around. "Leona!"

Leona suddenly ran into the arms of her so-called Brother Randolf. Seeing that his girl is hugging someone else instead of him makes Tim's face darken.

Randolf almost fell when he was hugged by Leona. "Oof– you gain weight Leona HAHAHA!!!"

"No I'm not! I just became strong!" Said Leona.

"Are you done hugging now?" Tim suddenly asked.

"Ahh, who are you?" Randolf asked.

"He is just a nobo—" Before Leona finish her sentence she was stopped by Tim's answer.

"I'm her lover." Tim calmly said.

Leona became embarrassed and then she retorted, "Who's your lover?! I'm no ones your lover!"

"I see, I see, HAHAHA!!! I didn't think that this Leona will find a lover HAHAHA!!!" Randolf said while laughing.

"Yeah, that's right, so can you now let go of my lover?" Tim said and then she pulled Leona out of Randolf arms.

"Okay, okay HAHAHA!!!" Randolf surrendered.

"Let go of me! We are not lover! I didn't even answered you yet!" Leona said as she tried to break away from Tim's grip.

Tim loosened his grip on Leona's hand. "So that means I still had a chance?" Tim asked.

Leona broke free from Tim's grip and then she looked at Tim "Hmph!" Leona harrumphed and turned around to talk to the other people.

Randolf slaps Tim's shoulder and then he said. "Do your best bud!" Before Randolf leave, he added, "By the way, I'm already married to that girl with red hood and Leona is only like a little sister to me so don't be jealous bud." Then Randolf left.

Tim was so embarrassed but he didn't show it in his face instead he went to the garden to calm his mind and think over about what Leona said.

After the greetings of the crowd to Aki, they entered the orphanage. They stayed at the open area in the middle of the orphanage because they can't fit all the crowd in the living room.

"Right mother, this is my and Randolf's son, Marco, his class job was a [Pastry Chef] so I taught him all the recipes you though me before." Red proudly said.

"Hello grandma." Marco politely greeted Aki.

"Hello Marco." Aki greeted back.

"And I trained him using the Lycan training that's why even tho he is just 17, he can now handle 13 humans a row HAHAHA." Randolf proudly said too.

"Ohh~ then Marco can you show me your Lycan form?" Aki asked to the young man with glasses.

Marco nodded. "Okay." Then he started to concentrate. Dark colored hair started to grow all over Marco's body, his body started to grow larger and it stoped.

Marco now have dark but shiny hair all over his body, eyes red as a ruby and a body of half wolf half human.

"Woah! I think he is better than you Randolf HAHAHA!!!" Aki laughingly said while patting Randolf's shoulder.

"Yeah he already surpassed me, I only got to fully transform when I was 20." Randolf's sigh.

"Then mother! This is my daughter Ella! She is an [Archer] like me too!" Hunter said.

"Hello grandma!" Ella energetically said.

"Hello Ella. Such an energetic child HAHAHA!!! Like father like daughter HAHAHA!!!" They all laughed and Hunter just felt embarrassed.

"Oh! Kiana and Michaela didn't go with us because she still needs to run the pub in the Liryo Kingdom to get some informations." Hunter said.

"And mother! Kiana found the Snake!" Red added.

"I didn't think that my baby Snake is still alive!" Aki happily said.

"I think he lose some of his memories, because he even didn't know that his so-called new master/brother is his old lover! HAHAHA!!!" Red said while laughing.

"Oh, then I hope my little Snake can recover." Aki worriedly said.

"Don't worry mother! Kiana's friend is a great doctor, maybe she can heal Snake's injuries." Hunter said.

"Hope so." Aki said.

Then the Randolf introduced all the kids that they brought with them. They are all abandoned kids from the slums, some are from other races while others are slaves that they saved.

After talking and laughing, Aki guide them to the dorms in the orphanage so that they can have a rest first. After guiding the children to the dorms and picked the rooms they liked, Aki left with some other people from the crowd to cook for lunch and even Marco and Red is with them.

The kitchen was a little bit small to accommodate all the volunteers to cook so they just cook at the open area in the middle of the orphanage.

The orphanage became lively, they cooked a lot of foods to accommodate all the people that Hunter, Red and Randolf brought.

Leona was there too, she is helping them by cutting some veggies and meats. Tim came to help too after calming his mind down, he helped Marco to make some bread.

After the dishes had been cooked, someone called all the people to eat. Aki didn't have big tables yet so some [Lumberjack]'s cut some trees so that the [Craftsman] can make some long bales and chairs.

The sound of laughing and talking reverted through the whole open area while they were eating lunch. Aki felt happy seeing that some of his old children are still alive, but Aki didn't know that there are still a crowd of people rushing towards this abandoned forest.
