I take is a deep breath as if I've been underwater all this time and have finally come up for air. My parents are startled for moment before they see my watery eyes staring back at them.

"Yue." My mom calls softly as she reaches for me, afraid I might disappear at any moment.

I can't help the tears that gush from my eyes as I lung forward, "Mom! I was so scared!" I wailed as I held her close, remembering the abomination that tried to devour my soul, the memory of almost everyone I loved dead, and the image of me as I massacred so many people.

I feel her arms wrap tightly around me as she cried with me, "Me too, darling girl. Me too." We're still crying when I feel my Father's warmth wrapping us both in his arms.

I feel his silent tears falling on my back as he holds us both tightly in his embrace. "I'm so glad you're awake. I'm so so glad" his voice breaks as I hear the relief and remnant sorrow within his voice.

We sat there crying for a long time, just holding each other close. Afraid that if we let go this might all be a cruel dream.

I took a long time but I finally noticed another presence in the room as I peak out over my mother shoulder. There was a man in the room. I recognized him as one of the village warriors from before I just could recall his name.

When he noticed my eyes on him, he suddenly knelt and place his hand over his chest. "Savior, our young Priestess of the Moon and Stars. Your subject humbly greets you." His head remained bows as I looked to my parents in confusion.

My Mother is too busy squeezing the life out of me so my Father does the introductions. "This is Kelvin. He is the head warrior in charge of protecting the village while you were asleep. Now that you are awake he will be passing his position on and taking his place as your personal guard. See that symbol of the hand, the one over is chest." I look over and I indeed see a symbol of Moon behind a knight weilding both a sword and shield. "That symbol means he was chosen by the Moon Goddess and has made a vow to protect you with his life."

I look back at Kelvin with a questioning stare, "His lordship speaks the truth, my Priestess. No harm will come to you or those you cherish so long as I live."

"But I love everyone in the village? Are you sure you can protect them all?" I feel my mother relax and the warm gaze of my father as I stare into the determined eyes of my personal guard.

"Yes, my lady. If it is your wish then it shall be done. Luckly, I am not the only warrior within your personal guard. You currently have not only the original 10 warriors from our village but over the years there are been numerous additions, tho none of them have taken their vows they are still tasked with protecting the village as the village guard."

I nodded my head in understanding. Making a life vow is a huge decision and not everyone can make it especially when none of them actually know me as a person. Altho I was a baby back when they made their vow, I had also saved their lives and almost lost own to do it so our bond was deep and strong. "That's fine. They don't have to AK a vow for me to accept them. Their my people too."

Kelvins proud smile filled with pride, "As you command, my Priestess"

I pouted as I kept hearing Priestess this Priestess that. "Can't you call me by my name?"

"That would extremely disrespectful my priestess but if you insist then I will instead call you Lady Yue."

I nodded, "That would be much better."

"As you command, Lady Yue."

Now that I'm crying my eyes out I start to look around a find myself is a luxurious room but not over so. They obviously didn't skimp on quality but they didn't plate everything gold like some finnatic psychos. It's very bright and warm. "The room is so pretty! I love how it was done."

My mother nodded, "yes, I knew would like this much better then what that Fellow and your guard had in mind. They want to plate everything in gold and have jewels litter everywhere. It was so tacky, just the drawings had me wanting to wash my eyes."

Kelvin choked as his eyes widen and his mouth hung open looking like he had just been betrayed. "Your Ladyship, I thought we had agreed not to bring that up."

I watch as an evil teasing smile slowly widen on my Moms lips," Thats not the only embarrassing story I have."

He gasped, "T-t-then, how about Miss Yue."

"Yue, do you know what happened just a few weeks after we set up our lovely little town?" My mother didn't break eye contact with Kelvin as she spoke,"This over zealous guard of yours....."

Kelvin face flushed bright red with embarrassment as he desperately tried to stop my mother. "I give! I surrender, don't say anymore! Yue, please stop your mother. I beg you!" Kelvin was bright red at this point. I giggled and then I couldn't stop as I started laughing.

This was the scene that greeted the Chief when he rushed in having heard a child laughter.

I looked over at the chief of the village as I couldn't help the big smile on my face, "Village chief!" I called as I reached for him.

He practically teleported to my side as held my hand to his forehead where the mark of his vow was. He was trembling, but then he look up at me with a smile as tears flowed freely from his eyes he said "Welcome home, Lady Yue."
