Crystal cried on her way back home, not minding her appearance. She shivered when she felt hands on her but she struggled.
But this force was more stronger.
A hand went to her mouth and she was carried to an apartment.
No one heard her cries....no one came to her aid.
She cried as countless men took advantage of her.
She was left with thorn clothes as soon as they were done with her.
A tear fell when she realized what they had done to her. She fainted and when she had woken up, she found herself in the hospital with a worried Laura beside her.
She was never sane from that day on, living like a ghost. Laura was always there for her and that made Crystal trust her more.
She still took her books seriously and soon she had graduated.
But there was no happiness.....nothing.
She was just a living dead and her life was more like a shattered sham.
A man came to see her on her graduation day and had given her papers to sign. She was clueless at first but when she had been told it was a fulfillment to her father's will, she cried.
She signed those papers and got all her father's wealth. And that was when she knew her parents were no more.
They dropped her on that doorstep to protect her.
They knew they were going to die and they protected her....and here has was thinking they had abandoned her.
She took in her responsibility and she became the independent woman she wished she would be.
But she felt cold....she felt empty.
Laura was always there for her and she was happy to have a friend like her but still.....
She was torn. She still suffered from PTSD and she never even mind if it affected her or not.
There was a void in her heart that she believed will always be there....it won't leave her.
But surprisingly, there was a little hope, just a speck of hope.
When she saw him after nine whole years in an occasion when she was invited.
She felt alive for the first time in a long while.
But her heart shattered when she saw someone on his lap.
Martha.
Their eyes met but she whimpered when she saw his eyes.
There were the eyes she had always loved....but it was filled with hate....
Hate for her.
