Book of Dreams and Nightmares

When the weekend came, it was time to go find a way to break into the next class. It was a Friday night and I had met up with Bas and Violet.

"I'll be gone for the weekend now. I may be back Sunday night or Monday morning.", I say to them.

Bas just gives me a thumbs up, "I know you'll do well my friend. Just don't be late to the fight classes at least on Monday."

Violet gives me a hug, "If you get hurt, heal before you come back so you don't make me worry."

I smile at that. Then we do a quick kiss.

I wave them goodbye, "See y'all later. Be back soon." I go invisible, don my hero attire, unfurl my wings and take off."

My destination is an unlikely place.
