Walking Threat

Every step of the martial path is hard. Once one reached the fourth rank one had become a true martial artist. It was like carp jumps over the dragon gate.

Increased social status and reverence of the mortals.

In that sense, true martial artists would receive great treatment anywhere in Flame County.

On this continent, how many Martial Apprentice were unable to enter this rank?

.....

In the Sacred Heart Forest, below the grass of soulless plants, underground. Lu Zhou opened his eyes. Before he was a line of words.

[Your Soul Puppet had been destroyed]

" Well, the Blood Clearing Grass can do that much..." Satisfied with his new spells, Lu Zhou flick his finger, and the top earth above his head opened.

The periphery of his base was surrounded by the height of the Black Tree. Said to be the most seek material for a mortal carpenter. With the hardest of metal and flexibility of the rubber. But, for his strengths was that of the sixth rank, this nonsense was useless.

Becoming a martial artist had been his goal. Now, this dream had come true so quickly. Although he knew the danger within, this doesn't mean that he will know everything.

A few hours before the tournament, Lu Zhou had arrived in the Sacred Heart Forest, replacing him was the puppet he had to make after consuming the Blood Clearing Grass. At that time, he felt his decision was ridiculous and not solid enough, it would affect his safety for a prolonged period included the threat of the demonic practitioners inside the city and the sect.

" Thank goodness. And this spell was sick, didn't it?" As Lu Zhou was thankful for his fast response for hiding his fast cultivation from the world, he called his status.

[Lu Zhou]

[Lifespan: 13/200]

[Cultivation: 6th Rank Martial Artist / Intermediate Mage]

[Technique: Origin of the Internal Energy( Beginner )]

[Physical Body: Lesser State Level 1 ]

[Spells: Tier 2 Supernova Level 1, Tier 1 Soul Puppet Level 1 ]

[Spirit Energy: - - -]

[Inventory: 30/30]

Except for the physical body state, Lu Zhou's spell levels would not increase in a slight bit even though the puppet was efficient in using it. And that also included in all aspects.

" Getting this spell at the last moment...honestly my luck was quite good." Lu Zhou tap the spell description as he smile and shook his head for ignoring these details.

[Tier 1 Soul Puppet: Have you become bored of looking at the mirror? Why not make a new friend with some resources of yours. Its efficiency will increase as the level improve. The use of any normal grade plants type items would have been a better medium for this spell to be able to make a difference in daylight! Requirements: Normal Grade Plant type item. Cost of SE: 100,000 per hour]

Sighed

Lu Zhou sighed and shook his head for these remarks were a new development for him. At first, he was confused, then throw that useless thought back into his head for that was unnecessary.

When this spell was in its initial growth the use of it was greatly depended on the mind's energy and its ability to be able to disguise itself as humans. And if even the first elder of the Lu sect, Lu Jian, can't see the difference and mistake him for a human with the cultivation of the sixth rank of the martial path, then no one does.

As this was only level one, Lu Zhou concluded that the spell would have been more ridiculous as its level increase. But so do the requirements for the items necessary for this spell to be useful.

" The only one who knew about my death was the first elder. And he was one of the high members of the Ji's Manor...."

Of course, he's will not throw the possibility of his death was known to all the sect's disciples.

Demonic practitioners...

When this emerged from his mind, a certain book that he previously read in the Martial Arts Library about these people appeared.

There are are are two methods of motivation in this world that are off officially known now to everyone. And that was Evil Cultivation and Orthodox Path. This two usually cross each other paths with time. As this was common to martial artists, the mortal would have a hard time knowing it. Moreover, the casualties of both parties were highly dependent on the mortal's life, as they a the ones who will be the vanguard party if both planning for a prolonged period of war.

Pondered about this cultivator who prefers to use a more barbaric way of the method, Lu Zhou takes a scroll from his inventory.

[Portal of Reminiscent a three-time use items of the normal rank]

The description of the scroll was glowing in deep red, signaling its almost used ability.

This item had been a great help for him. If not because of this scroll, Lu Zhou would have been trapped in the city as the sects would not let him go. Furthermore, the news of his high cultivation will be spreading until it reached the Cloud Step City. And that would attract the curiosity of people's greed about his fast improvement.

When he saw Lu Jian's use of Energy Transformation was on another level and it can even stop the puppet's ability to move, Lu Zhou was scared stiff.

With their consciousness connected, Lu Zhou with his mind opened and eyes looking through the puppet's eyes, his curiosity about the conflict within the sect had deepened.

" Ha! This is a big problem indeed...The puppet's reconnaissance was in pair with me. And the ten thousand use of spirit energy was like its battery...but.."

It's a pity indeed, after using it for hours the spell's level didn't even increase, and with every level for one creation of such wonderful trump card, Lu Zhou's needs for safety greatly decreased.

Upon this thought was finished circulating in his head, Lu Zhou waved his hand.

The one-inched thick skin scroll flew from his hand. Airborne and combusted to dust as some flickering light emerged from its center.

After a while, an oval shape dark passages like the night star appeared before him, with a height of two meters, this portal was indeed full of mystery.

Looking through the blackness of the night within the portal, Lu Zhou moved his feet and entered the gate.

" At least, they don't deserve the danger.." Lu Zhou's eyes were different from his feelings of sympathy for the previous host's family. As his emotion is forced to be the waves of the ocean, his expression can not be afforded to the changes...

.....

The city of Cloud Step in other morning was necessary for the commoners to make a living as their rise the banner of the stalls and hawking through the street.

Pedestrians would stop by and continue their sweat of worthless endeavor when the things their wants and needs are consumed by others' lucky ones. So the adventures of normal people.

" Old man, how much," A young juvenile asked the smiling hawker the price for the furniture he wants. Signaling the man behind him, the youths walked out of the street when there's no response.

This scene didn't attract people's attention. And looking at their faces, the matter was a common thing for them.

Just as the young man wants to enter another street, suddenly...

THUD!

The entire earth seemed to tremble slightly, but with regularity. It was as though a giant creature was walking on the earth, causing it to tremble with each step.

" Hmm...it came from the south gate." The young man immediately discerned the direction.

Not just him. The two men beside him all turned towards the south, their expression growing solemn. The vibration was growing stronger and clearer. All of the hawkers and potential buyers could feel that the regular vibrations were coming from an enormous creature headed their way.

Each of the thunderous footsteps seemed to cause a vibration powerful enough to shake the young's man heart.

What giant creature was causing this?

Widening his eyes, the man stared south. As the gate of the south of the Cloud Step city was only a hundred meters from his position, the giant creature that caused the earth to shake finally revealed itself.

Upon seeing this enormous creature, one of the men beside him said," Young Master...should we go back? This seems from the main clan..." The guard of the young master's reaction speed was very quick; they immediately stood in front of him.

" A Savage beast of the sixth rank. A Snowdragon!" Lu Zhulong's facial expressions contorted.

Since he was born, the largest creature which he had ever seen was the warhorses that sometimes passed by the city of Cloud. Those large, powerful horses were tall enough when he saw the comparison between the roof of the commoners. But in front of this giant creature, they seemed like nothing more than a babe in front a giant. The difference was truly astounding.

This creature was easily two stories high and at least twenty or thirty meters long.

Savage Beast – Snowdragon!

The Snowdragon's entire body was covered by huge, glittering snow-white scales. The scales alone were stunning and frightening to behold. The Snowdragon's four snow-covered long legs were even more terrifying in their thickness. Two fully-grown men would barely be able to surround them with their arms. The snow-white Snowdragon was entirely white, except for its cold, deadly-looking black claws.

The Snowdragon's long scale-covered tail made up over half of its total body length. Like a whip, it swept across the ground. Each time it struck the ground, a deep thud could be heard emanating from below.

" Grrr..."

With a low-throated growl, white step erupted from the nostrils of the Snowdragon, carrying with it the cold of ice. Those diamond-like eyes, nearly the sizes of a lantern, were also strangely, blue as well. The huge head of the Snowdragon turned towards Lu Zhulong and the bodyguards. Its cold gaze terrified all of the pedestrians and the hawkers, freezing them in their tracks.

Lu Zhulong felt as though his heart had stopped beating. Right now, it seemed as though all sound had faded away.

" Is there anyone who can defeat such a creature?"

Just from looking at this huge savage beast, he believed that with but a swipe of its enormous tail, most likely even the sturdiest stones of the houses of the city would be disintegrated.

" You. Are you Lu's?" Suddenly, a cold voice emanated from on top of the Snowdragon.

All of the terrified commoners looked up. Upon the Snowdragon's enormous, scally back, a man in his thirties wearing snow-white robes was sitting cross-legged.

" My lord, I'm Lu Zhulong. Is there anything we can help you with?" Lu Zhulong's voice rang out.

Upon hearing Lu Zhulong's voice, everyone seemed to find their bearings again and recovered from the state of stunned terror. But everyone present, including the soldiers of the Cloud Step City, didn't dare make a single sound. They stood behind Lu Zhulong and fearfully looked at the terrifying Snowdragon and the man atop it.

" Looks like I arrived." The middle-aged man said with a smile on his face.
