Still Not Sure

"What's wrong, with Salsa? Why does she look scared?" said Mesya who looked confused.

Dimly she heard if there was a fight in the garden behind the school.

Mesya was curious and immediately saw it.

"Oh my! Arthur! David! Why are you two fighting again?!" shouted Mesya as she ran towards her two younger siblings.

Again the two brothers quarreled. The two never got along.

Arthur chuckled seeing Mesya's presence, while David chose to leave the two of them.

"This is what you want?!" David snapped, glancing at Arthur.

"Arthur, why are you bothering him! After all, David has hurt you so many times!" Mesya examined Arthur's entire face, afraid that someone would get hurt again.

Arthur gently pushed Mesya's hand away.

"I'm fine, Mesya, you don't need to worry, Beautiful Sister, fighting between boys is normal," Arthur said.

Huft... Mesya shook her head with a heavy snort.

"But you guys are brothers?"

"Well, I know we're brothers, but David doesn't seem to like our brotherhood."

"What does it mean?" Mesya was very curious about Arthur's words.

"Well, if he thinks of me as a brother, he must think the same as me, and of course, he behaves like a real Davies too, just like me, not like this. Loser!"

Mesya still didn't know what Arthur meant.

All this time she pretended to turn a blind eye to all her family secrets.

But no matter what, Mesya also has to know everything.

She was a member of the Davies family, even her name was on the family card. Then why did all her family members keep something from her?

She never asked because she was afraid. Afraid of them being offended, and afraid of hearing things that were dark in her family.

Though curiosity was burning in Mesya's chest. And today she had to ask!

"Arthur, may I ask you something?" Mesya asked in a slightly trembling voice.

"What do you want to ask?" Arthur turned to ask Mesya.

"I don't know, I'm not sure if my question is correct or not. I'm afraid...." Mesya lowered her head and her eyes started to tear up.

"If you're not sure to ask then you shouldn't ask, Mesya," Arthur said, his voice sounding completely different.

Not like the usual Arthur. This time his voice sounded very firm as if indicating that he did not like this question.

Mesya was afraid to see the look in Arthur's eyes. The look in his eyes was similar to the look in Arumi's and Charles' eyes.

So strange, spooky, and full of falsehood.

Those who have been good to him, are different from David who always shows his rude attitude to Mesya.

But somehow Mesya feels that the three of them are not as great as they seem.

Well, they are full of fakes, they are full of mysteries.

"What do you want from me?" asked Mesya firmly.

Arthur flinched slightly at that.

Mesya never asked this decisively. Very visible when she pushed herself.

Arthur immediately stood up and approached Mesya.

His gaze was so sharp, like a tiger.

Mesya was starting to get scared, she regretted having forced herself to pretend to be brave.

She was afraid, it was just that she felt it was unfair to be treated like this.

"Are you tired of living already?" Arthur asked, her tone so flat yet scary.

Masya's heart skipped a beat. Then Arthur raised his right hand as if to hit Mesya.

Mesya reflexively closed her eyes as she turned to the side to dodge.

But the unexpected thing, it turns out that Arthur even stroked Mesya's face.

"Beautiful Sister, don't think about it. We are your family, we love you very much, and all you need to know is that we don't have the slightest bit of secret that we are hiding from you," Arthur said softly. His voice was very smooth, like an older brother who loves his little sister very much.

Mesya breathed a sigh of relief hearing that, it meant Arthur wouldn't do anything bad to her.

But curiosity returned to her mind. She still hasn't gotten an answer about her adoptive family's secret.

But never mind, Mesya doesn't care anymore, the most important thing is that they all love her.

The matter of what their main purpose is to take care of her is not important.

Mesya just wants to live in peace.

"Mesya, I'll go first, okay, if anyone dares to disturb you, just say it," Arthur said, "as, my dear brother, I will always protect you, no matter what happens," he whispered.

Not a word came out of Mesya's mouth, only clear drops started to flood her cheeks.

Arthur did not see the crying, Mesya was still sitting, while he was gone.

Not long after, Marry approached Mesya.

"Mesya, are you okay?" asked Marry.

Mesya immediately raised her face

"Marry?"

"I accidentally passed by and saw you with Arthur,"

"Marry, what do you see?"

"Everything, I even overhear your conversation, I'm sorry okay?" Marry looked feel guilty.

Mesya nodded, "Yes. It's okay, next time be more careful. Don't let anyone know if you peek at us,"

"Relax, the situation is very quiet," said Marry.

Then they handed the handkerchief to Mesya.

"Thank you," said Mesya.

"Must be hard on you huh?" asked Marry.

Hutt... Mesya snorted heavily, but no words came out of her mouth.

"Arthur, it's strange, his demeanor can change in seconds. I even knew the look in his eyes that was dead before he rubbed your face," said Marry. Mesya immediately turned her gaze to Marry.

"Marry, you also noticed that?"

"Of course, even I was sure that Arthur would have hit you earlier, but somehow his anger turned into a sweet demeanor. You don't think so? If he's too weird?" Marry glanced at Mesya.

"Well of course I feel very strange, I'm not even surprised by things like that. They've always treated me like that. Expressions always change in the blink of an eye. Except, David,"

"David?"

Mesya nodded. "Yeah, he's the only one who's always been overtly rude to me, he never puts on a good mask for me I feel the opposite."

"What do you mean, Mesya?"

"On the other hand, David just pretends to be mean to me, and he's nice. I don't know I'm still not sure about that either.
