Twin brothers meeting in the drama festival.
The new students were happy to join drama and music festival Silva and David joined both the drama and music troupe.
"The students with experience please rehearse for the new students to learn how the rehearsal is done" Peter instructed
"The new students sit for you to observe what is going on" Peter said
The drama students brought the curtain to engulfed the podium and started the play there was beating of drums curtain opened, the introduction was done the drama continued it was very interesting and moving Silvia and David were amazed on the drama.
"I will join this troupe" Silva said.
"Me too I will join the trouble" David said.
The drama ended and peter held the microphone.
"Who are interested to join the drama group?' Peter asked.
Silvia and David raised their hands quickly peter smiled.
"I can see how you are very interested with the drama please come forward and go to the other room for rehearsal" Peter said
The other students who were interested to join the drama followed Silvia and David to the inner room for the rehearsal.
Sandy was happy to be at home with her son Robin, Veronica passed by the house to school for preparation for music and drama festival, Sandy was busy doing her household chores there was a knock at the door Robin knew it was Veronica he went happily to open the door.
"You are welcome Veronica" Robin said.
He ushered in Veronica, as Sandy busy preparing some food to eat before Robin and Veronica go to the school for the rehearsal.
"Welcome have a seat" Sandy said.
"Thanks very much" Veronica responded.
"Receive greetings from my father Dr Ben" Veronica said.
"You mean he already know me" Sandy said.
"He always asked me where I go I told to him that I come to your house" Veronica said.
"How did he know my son" Sandy asked.
"Almost all the the parents know Robin because he took the first position during the last examination" Veronica replied.
"Also immediately we interacted with Robin my position changed from position forty to the top ten" Veronica said.
"You mean when you met my son you became the best ten performing students?" Sandy asked.
"Yes Robin is very important resource in our class, not only that the entire school and I know when the music and drama start I know we are going for national" Veronica said confidently.
Sandy almost shed the tears of happiness but she had to compose herself Veronica realized, Sandy served them food, Robin and Veronica ate the food.
"Make sure immediately you are done with your rehearsal com back home immediately" Sandy advised.
They were done taking food Robin changed his clothing quickly and they started walking to Nakuru high school for rehearsal.
They walked through the city center to the school reaching the school the students had already assembled at the school hall.
"They are ready for rehearsals they are already at the hall" Robin said.
"Let's hurry for us to catch up" Veronica said
They hurried to the hall Hillary the drama teacher was already at the podium addressing the students.
"I would like to introduce the trainers to the new students form ones who reported recently" Hillary said.
"The students who participated last year come in front" Hillary said
"The drama leaders to come to the podium" Hillary instructed.
The drama and music leaders went in to the podium and stood beside the teacher.
"I would like you to identity the best new students majority is the form ones students to replace the students who finished form four last year" Teacher reiterated.
"We don't have much time we are going to Kericho day for the music festival and the drama festival" Hillary said.
Festus moved forward and held the microphone.
"My name Festus drama and music captain for those who would like to join us, I would like to encourage you there is nothing hard and also nothing is easy" Festus said.
Robin and Veronica looked at each other and smiled.
"You mean acting and singing is not hard?" Veronica asked.
"Yes nothing is hard when you believe in yourself" Robin said
"I have a grandfather who inspired me when we were undergoing traditional initiation he used to tell us many inspiring stories" Robin said
"All the form ones who are interested in joining the drama and music festival come in front and register, but since its holiday and you have reported all of you are interested" Festus said.
Robin and Veronica were the first to go and register for the festivals, other students were very surprised to see Robin one of the best students in class academically joining.
Hillary registered all of them.
"I don't think there is any other student who is interested the list is full and it is now registration is officially closed any other student seeking position may be for replacement" Hillary said.
"I now officially declare the the rehearsal officially opened" Hillary the music festival teacher declared.
Veronica and Robin rehearsed for that first day though it was the first they tried to catch up with the other students within some few weeks they were already on track.
The April holiday ended, the school reopened the drama and music festival troupe rehearsed harder to make sure they win the upcoming music and drama festival, to be held at Kericho day secondary school. Monday morning the principal was the first person to arrive at school the reacher on duty made sure that all the students availed themselves at the assembly the bell rang all the students rushed to the assembly they saw the principal they knew that there were major announcements.
The teacher on duty came in front of the assembly.
"Today there are major announcement to be made by our principal, let me welcome him to make the announcement" The teacher said.
The students had a high expectations they became attentive.
"As I told you last term this term is full of activities and also sporty term" Principal said.
There was some murmur students talking to each other, the principal continued.
"The music festival and drama troupe will be going to Kericho day secondary school to participate in drama and music festival competition over the coming weekend" Principal said.
The students cheered and clapped Veronica and Robin were amused with the information.
The school bus has been repaired everything is in order I know our school normally perform well in the drama and music festival.
I wish you success, immediately after the drama and music festival the other sports will start students who are interested should join the various team to participate.
The students were very happy to hear the information and clapped to express their happiness.
The drama and music festival troupe started preparing to go to Kericho day second school Robin and Veronica prepared for the trip to Kericho day secondary school, it was on Friday morning, Veronica went to Robin's home to get prepared with Robin for drama festival, Sandy was happy to hear that, they sat to eat bread as before embarking on the preparation.
"I hope you know what to carry with you start with the beddings and the clothes" Sandy said.
"We need also to have soap and Vaseline and the pocket money" Robin said.
"I forgot the Vaseline and soap I have the pocket money and the beddings" Veronica said
"Don't worry you will use your pocket money to buy soap and Vaseline or we can share mine together since its only three days" Robin said.
"That is a good idea" Sandy said.
"Its time you hurry let me call the motorcycle operator since you have luggage with you to carry" Sandy said.
Sandy held her phone and called the motorcycle operator, the operator rushed and took them to school, reaching the school compound the other members of the music festival were ready and brought everything they require.
I have realized that all the participants took serious the drama and music festival, they have all reported to start the journey to Kericho.
Hilary the music and music festival master assembled them to be given motivational talk and guidance for the to start the journey.
The principal came to address them.

The troupe boarded the school bus with their belonging headed to Kericho for the drama and music festival.
On the other hand David with his troupe from Kisumu day secondary school boarded their school bus with a lot of hope to win the upcoming festival at the Kericho day Secondary school it was a one hour drive to Kericho they drove past Kericho town to Kericho day.
"Already other school have arrived from different parts of the country" Silvia said.
Wow look at that bus its the biggest bus I have ever seen written Nakuru day secondary school " David said.
The buses were parked inside the compound of Kericho teachers college opposite Kericho day secondary school.
The driver parked adjacent to Nakuru day secondary school bus the participants alighted from the bus and started greeting one another David realized a familiar face.
"Isn't that my brother" He asked herself.
He went towards where Robin was Silvia was jealous when he realized that David is leaving her alone.
"Robin my brother!" David shouted.
"Its you David Robin!" shouted back.
They hugged one another Veronica didn't see them meeting so to Silvia they were busy assembling their luggage ready to take to where they are going to be hosted.
