Chapter-7: Defeating The Grand

I walked towards the tomb which was written with a certain language, I looked carefully and tried to understand what was written there, but I couldn't. "What is written here, Mr. Navigator?" I asked the navigator. The navigator translated it to me and it said,

" A very old tree lives by

in this dead mountain right here.

There must be a certain reason

he lives here without fear."

I read the writing on the tomb and asked, "They must be talking about Grand Tree Lekiad, right?" the navigator said yes. I touched the tomb a little and started walking towards the direction the navigator showing. I got interrupted by a Gremlin as it stopped my path, so I took out my sledge hammer and got ready to bang it on top of that Gremlin. I hid behind a rock tomb and stayed there until the Gremlin stood in front of the rock tomb. I hit the Gremlins head very hard, but it didn't do any harm to it. The Gremlin took out a spear and hit very hard on the tomb which caused it to break a part. "AH!" I screamed and started running towards the other direction. The Gremlin started chasing me cause I didn't know I triggered it.

I threw my sledge hammer at the Gremlin and it fell flat on the ground. I went closer to the Gremlin, it seemed like it died. I jumped up and down knowing that I killed a Gremlin for the first time ever. "YEE! I killed a Gremlin! I killed a Gremlin! Yay!" I said out of happiness. But soon, there were three more Gremlins. "Yay! Yay!-- Huh!?" I noticed the Gremlins from far away and those three Gremlins were coming towards me. "Huh!? What should I do?" I ran and took my sledge hammer and threw it at one of the Gremlins, the third Gremlin fell flat on the ground and got back up again. It seemed to be an upgraded version of the previous Gremlin I killed. Now I couldn't go in front of the Gremlins and take my sledge hammer or else I would die, so I planned something. I took a piece of rock and threw it at the same Gremlin. It died cause this was when I realized that you needed to hit the Gremlin 2 times and then it would die. So once I was done, I took more rocks so I could kill more.

I finished killing the Gremlins and completed my task. So I went and took my weapon and began to walk again. I arrived at a certain place where there were no other ways to go through. "Why isn't there any other ways to go through?" I asked but the navigator didn't reply. I looked around to find myself inside a huge domain where there were just rocks and nothing else. "Mr. Navigator!?" I looked around but I couldn't find the navigator. I looked to every side of the domain but it was too big for it's own good, so the further I looked, the more foggy it became. I walked towards the left side of the domin but it wasn't ending, so I didn't want to get lost. I went back to the center of the domain to figure things out. "What even is this place? It looks so huge!" I exclaimed. I ran from one side to another to find a life bar above. "Why... Why is that thing above me?..." I questioned cause I had no idea. Some very abnormal sounds were coming from behind which made me move my head towards the back. "Huh?" I looked back but found nothing, just fog. I tried walking towards the fog but instead got lost.

A big bolder was coming towards me and when suddenly the bolder hit the other side, it bounced and started rolling towards the same direction as before. I ran to the other, thinking where it might have come from. "Where has that giant bolder come from?" I asked while running. "The bolder must have entered this area from somewhere, definitely from the fog..." I thought to myself. I shifted my position a little and walked towards the place where the bolder had stopped.

"Hm?" I found a huge tree, not even comparable to the tiny bolder. "WOAH!" I looked from down to up and just stared at it. "What do you think you are doing here, little human?" "H-huh!? Who was t-that!?" I heard someone and questioned. I looked around, looking for the questioner but... "You fool. You must be looking for me." I looked up and realized it was... The Grand Tree Lekiad! Out of fear, I fell and sat on my butt. "So a-at l-last, I have met you... Haha..." I laughed a little, thinking nothing at that point. "So, what brings you here, little human?" I shivered a little as I have never seen anything greater than this before. I pointed at his bark and sat there as I couldn't speak out of fear. "T-those, I came to break them..." The Grand Tree was quiet for a great moment. "Hahaha!" The Grand Laughed. "?" I stared at it, and shiver each time. I took out my sledge hammer and looked at it very confused, "How do I battle this hunk with this tiny sledge which can break any time?" I said to myself. "How do you think you can help yourself with that?" The Grand Tree spoke. I ran towards the tree and jumped on it, aiming for the bark. "Here I go and it's your fault if I die!" I jumped on it and you know, fell at the first try and hit my head very hard. I jumped from the ground to get up and run again with all my might. This time, I could finally claw his fingers and stay there so I could finish him off quick. Soon, I reached his bark and he was moving around which was a burden. My face was very scared like I saw the most scariest thing in my life and for now, it was this, the scariest moment ever. I leveled my sledge hammer into Level five, the perfect moment. I immediately got the chance so I banged the sledge hammer on eyes so he couldn't see. I ran from eyes to his hands, leading me to his bark. I jumped and landed on his bark and BANG! I broke his bark into half! The tree was making groaning sounds which scared me for my life. The tree had fallen which made me fly up towards the ceiling then go back down. I ran towards the tree and stood in front of it, "You came here... for this, right?" The Grand Tree asked and past away. I bowed to it and collected the bark pieces. A notification appeared, I clicked and it congratulated me. "Congratulation! You have finished your first Grand Kill!" the letter said. I jumped up and down out of joy. I was the happiest person that time.

Many visitors of the Grand Tree Lekiad cave down have good luck. Their weapons down level up at the right time, that's the reason they don't succeed.
