Chapter 12: Ambush
Back in the main area of the town of Silverstream, back to the shed behind the inn, the three adventurers rested a bit.
Junk was back in his human form after using so much demonic energy earlier to try to rescue April.
"I can't believe we are back here after everything that just happened," April said. She was the one that was required to recover the most among the three. Junk was okay. And September was fully rested after this relaxing hour or so at the local hot spring, even considering what had happened there with Lord Monsoon.
"It could be worse," Junk tried to make her feel better.
"I know. I guess it's just because I felt like this fish was going to devour me alive," April was lying down on her back on the only bed in the shed behind the inn. An awful and uncomfortable, shitty bed, but a bed nonetheless. Meanwhile, Junk was at her side. Keeping her company. While September was standing on the other side of the shed, peeking outside through a window with her arms crossed together. Her wooden scepter resting against the wall not too far from the same window.
"Do you this Lord Monsoon is going to come back?" Junk asked The Witch Queen?"
"Is he going to come back? Yes. Immediately? No. He is going to wait a bit," she explained to him. Straight up.
"I see," Junk said.
"When he comes back, I'll take care of him myself," April said out loud.
"Sure, you are," Junk didn't believe her at all.
"Don't make the mistake to undervalue her, Junk. April is a lot stronger than she looks."
"I am!"
"I am not undervaluing her. You can believe me. But do you really think what you've done after rescuing her was necessary earlier?" Junk asked the witch.
"Which was?" she demanded him.

Earlier, not too long after the water level of the river had been lowered by September herself, Junk eventually caught up with them. This was when he made the surprising discovery that April was okay. She was fine. She was still alive and safe, thankfully. She had been forced to come down here in the river, but she was still in one-piece. When he found her, Junk soon attempted to kill the monster with one punch, as it couldn't swim anymore. But, at last, September stopped him. She interrupted her so she could capture him. Capture his soul before leaving it alone in the waterless river.
***
"Was it necessary to capture the soul of a dead, rotting fish?" Junk asked her. A bit more specifically this time.
"Yes. It was."
"But why? What good can come out of the soul of a zombie eel?" he asked her again.
"A lot of goodness."
"Such as?"
"What if we come across another river and there is another water monster facing us? I could then reincarnate the soul of this 'zombie eel' as you call it, and use it like a soldier. It could come in handy. On top of that, it makes my tits bigger. Therefore, boosting the stats and capabilities of my milk mana," she revealed to him for the very first time.
"Wait, what?" the young man was more interested in that part.
"She didn't tell you about that part yet?" April asked him.
"No."
"I was going to."
"So, it's true?" Junk asked her. Walking closer to her in the shed.
"It's all true."
"Catching and swallowing more souls makes your tits bigger?" Junk asked her.
"Yes," she said as much as a matter of fact as possible.
"Show me," he told her. She was still facing the window. Her back was facing him.
"We have more important things to do."
"Show me," he insisted.
"Oh, right, it has been a while since the last time you had sex. What? Something like two hours ago?" she asked him without hoping for any form of answer or information. She already perfectly knew how much time it has been since the last time he had sex. She knew. She knew everything.
"It has. So what?"
"That might be why you want to see them so much."
"You know what? It's fine. I don't need anything," he admitted to her.
"There you go," she might have been a dark mistress with a cold heart, but she was still a great Queen, and she was still in adoration of her new bodyguard. She slowly and seductively turned around, stepping back from the window a bit. Her arms were still crossed together at this point. She was still covering her big tits, covering her jack-o-lantern breastplates. Then, without another word being said, she lowered her arms and revealed her big tits to the handsome boy. She was still wearing her breastplates by this point, but she still revealed them to him. She was right. She had been honest. Her breasts were a bit bigger than they were before. Junk noticed it nearly right away.
"You are telling the truth. They are in fact larger."
"Why would I lie?" she said as she continued to keep the same neutral and straight facial expression she always had.
"Good question. Mind losing the jack-o-lanterns?" he asked her.
"It's fair. You deserved to see them. You did a lot of great work for us lately," she told him as she was in the process of getting rid of her breastplates forged in the shape of jack-o-lanterns. She successfully unclipped them and then was just about to lower them and fully reveal her big witchy breasts to the modest man.
She showed him everything.
Junk was given a gorgeous and sexy show
September's tits are amazing! I am the luckiest guy ever!
She intentionally made her big tits jiggle up and down for him until she, unfortunately, had to stop…
"What? What's wrong? Why did you stop?"
She squinted her eyes. She moved her to the side. She was just about to fully turn her head around and take another look at the same window she was peaking through earlier.
"They are here," she calmly said.
"What?"
"Who is here?" April asked her from the bed.
"I sensed their presence earlier, but I didn't know they would be here so fast," she admitted to the others.
"Who are they? Who are you talking about?" Junk asked her. But before nothing could be done about it, an arrow was shot right into the window the witch was looking through. The arrow missed the witch but flew right in the direction of the poor, little April, who was still recovering in the bed. If the arrow was to enter in contact with her, she would be done for sure. There was no chance that she could survive this at the rate and speed it was going at. If it kept its trajectory intact, it was going to be hitting her right between her two eyes. Fortunately for her, Junk miraculously caught it at the last second with his right hand. Catching it and stopping with the palm of his right hand. Which was pretty impressive of him since he did this without her demonic armor on.
It was only him with his real human skills.
"Good catch," April told him.
"No problem."
"We have to leave. Now," September nonchalantly commanded the two to do.
"Time to suit up!" Sensing the surrounding danger, the brave young man thought it was for the best to turn into an armored knight with the theme of the Minotaur once more!
Poof!
Junk wore his armor again.
In no time, Junk kicked the awfully cheap and deteriorating door of the shed while carrying April over his left shoulder. September followed behind. When the group of three adventurers came inside, they were surrounded by dozens and dozens of troops. Knights in heavy and shining armors. Some of them were carrying swords. Other axes. Other lances. Other bows and arrows as it was shown very recently. Some of them even had crossbows. It didn't matter. All of them were pointing the sharp and dangerous weapons in their directions. Forming a big and vast circle all around her. They were surrounded. There was nothing they could do other than remain on their guards.
"September Autumn! By the ruling of the court of the Guild of Witches, you are asked and commanded to surrender. We are told and even greatly suggested to use strength against you if necessary. Don't make this any harder than it already is. Your time as a free woman and a free witch are over. Surrender now," the general of this army of knights working for the grand Guild of Witches shouted to her not too long after she had shown herself outside with the rest of her small group. This army of knights was prepared. They had most likely been hunting for the past few weeks or so, ever since she had been declared a fugitive by the guild. There was nowhere she could go on foot. The only option she had at this point was to take flight with her broom, and then leave Junk and April to a less than gracious fate.
"So, Lord Monsoon sent them too on top of the zombie fish?" April asked the witch.
"The undead eel was more or less like a kind gift from him. We defeated it. Captured. One more soul in our army of monsters. However, he obviously knew that so many knights were going to find us sooner or later," September replied to her.
"Too bad our army is not composed of a few monsters and that the zombie fish isn't too useful out of the water," April lowered her head.
"What do we do now?" the Minotaur asked her.
"I could leave on my broom, but I don't feel like it. I think it would be fun to fight. Not me fighting obviously, you are there for that, Junk. Defeat them. Defeat them all," she told them to do.
"You want me to take on all of them?"
"Is there a problem?"
"No. It's just that I never fought this many enemies at the same time, and I also didn't receive any mana milk in a while. I feel like my body isn't as strong as it should be."
"Well, we have no time for that, unfortunately," September said to him.
"I can see that."
"Put me down, Junk. I want to help fight these knights as well. I am strong. I can do it."
"What are you talking about? You are not fighting anything or anyone. You are still hurt. You stay here," he casually dropped her on the ground. As delicately as possible by letting her slide off his back. She wasn't hurt more than she already was.
"Wait, hold on, what are you doing?"
"Stay put. Stay with September."
"No. I'm battling with you."
"No. You are not. You are pregnant as well."
"Stay with me," April," September told him as she pulled her toward her and remained close to the kicked-in, the destroyed door of the shed. Meanwhile, it was time for Junk to prove that he was worth it. It was time for him to prove that he could protect them and be a good soldier. Naturally, being a strong witch, September didn't truly need any real protection. But it was by proving that he was a good fighter and protector that he was also going to prove to her that he should be the one to breed her upcoming legion of monsters.
"This is your last, final chance: Give up, and we are going to be forced to slaughter you all," the general of the army of knights proudly and confidently shouted at them. In response, Junk then moved forward. Slowly walked ahead of the group.
"I'm waiting for you to come to me," Junk calmly said to the knights, but staring at the general while he said it.
This had for effect to piss him off.
Royally.
"Very well. Charge, boys!" he said out loud. "Kill them all!" he ordered his men to attack them all, starting with the nearly naked Minotaur at the head of their group.
"Good," Junk said to himself.
I have no idea if I can take them all. Probably not. But at least, like this, I'll finally be able to know if I can or not. And she'll finally be able to see if I'm worth to be with her or not, Junk thought as he observed all the different knights charging toward him. All of them wearing the very same armors. Raising their weapons in the air. The archers just about to shoot plenty and plenty of arrows at him.
