"Husband, when are we going to see our son!!!" a woman cried in her bed as she inquired of her husband.

"State, what are you doing in here?" The Guard looked at them, seeing that they were dressed in saggy clothes.

Hearing Jiang Chen, the guard frowned, thinking that they should have nothing to do in the inner city.

"Do you have any identification that proves you are permitted to enter?" The guard inquired.

Jiang Chen's identification was a bronze rank within the inner city. Each rank has its own uses, such as protection, tax, and so on.

"Hold on a second, let me confirm it with the higher up. " The guard said before leaving

"Chen'er, do you think there will be a problem?" Xue bing couldn't help but ask as they saw the guard was suspicious of them.

"Don't worry, it will be alright." Jiang Chen smiled in response.

After a brief moment, the Guard returns with a young man who was around the age of Jiang Chen.

"Is it you who dares to bring a fake identification?" Zhao Zen said, arrogantly.

Zhao Zen was the youngest son of Patriarch Zhao. He was an arrogant person who would use his clan's name to get what he wanted.

Jiang Chen frowns upon hearing Zhao Zen.

"There must be a mistake, sir. I just recently purchased a house inside the inner city. I also bought it along with our identification." Jiang Chen explained politely

"Are you saying I'm a liar? When I say it's forged, I mean it!" Zhao Zen said this with a smug expression on his face.

Xue bing, who was by his side, tagged his clothes and said, "Chen'er, it's fine, I don't mind living in the slum with you."

Zhao Zen licked his lips, realising that there was a beauty beside Jiang Chen. Then he said, "Though I don't mind letting you in and making your identification legal, but lend her to me for a couple weeks."

"HAHAHA! SO THAT'S HOW IT IS. " Jiang Chen laughed aloud, attracting the attention of a lot of guards nearby.

Zhao Zen did not understand Jiang Chen's intention because he was used to people begging for him or sucking up to him, and even though he had coveted other people's wives before, nobody had ever tried to fight back against him, so when he saw Jiang Chen laughing, he assumed he was just happy and replied, "of course you can count on my word."

"You dare to be arrogant with me when you have no idea what I did?" As he approaches him, Jiang Chen says.

"Don't come near me, you monster! Don't you know who my father is?" Zhao Zen said as he fell onto his buttocks and a leak appeared through his pants.

"I don't care who your father or mother is, but don't even think about coveting my woman. KNOW YOUR PLACE!!" Jiang Chen then yelled his final words while sending a wave of sword Qi to knock Zhao Zen down.
