A real king needs just one Queen

I closed the door of my room and cried once again. But this time not because I was hurt by Aiguo's broken promise. Because today I lost everything I cherished the most. My husband to another woman, my title of Royal Queen Of Rusa to another woman, the pride of being Princess of Ailtics, the respect as the first wife of King Li Aiguo. Now, what am I? Just Impartial Queen of Rusa or just a mere watcher. I just chuckled at my weak state.

I stood up and looked up at the mirror to see my eyes which were red from crying, messed hair, messed eyes, and wet cheeks.

Fen Ju- Is this the great princess of Ailtics? Is this you who got ditched by her own husband? Is that you who was considered as the best swordswoman of East-West? I don't think so.

I throw away the things which were on the table. And looked at the ring in my finger which was once given by him.

Fen Ju- When the promise doesn't exist, why does this promise ring?

I took out the ring and threw it around my chamber. I am feeling so pathetic at this point. Suddenly the door of my room opened and it was queen mother. She ran toward me and hugged me.

Queen Mother-Daughter Ju, cry your heart out, dear.

I broke down in her warmth again. She is like a mother to me from the very start. I fall on the ground while being in her embrace.

Fen Ju- w-was I n-not e-enough f-for him? A-am I-i, not b-beautiful e-enough? W-why d-did he broke his promise m-mother? I did everything for him. I was a warrior princess in Ailtics but for him, I left the battlefield and sit the palace. I took care of the court matter so that h-he could rest. He said h-he w-wants ti-time before making l-love with me, I gave him. I heard taunts o-of people f-for not being able to give birth to an heir in 2 years. But mother, he never touched me like a husband. I was the one who took care of him when he used to come back from the battlefield. I was there for him when my f-father gave him the responsibility of Rusa. Why did he choose a random girl over our promise of 2 years? How could he forget the promise and words? Am I that worthless mother?

She broke the hug and wiped off her tears, her eyes were also wet and I could see the same pain in her eyes which were in my eyes. Sharing your husband whom you consider your world isn't an easy thing. But Queen has to do it. But in our Ailtics, man has the only woman in their house. Maybe the East isn't the same as the North.

Queen Mother- Ju, you aren't worthless. It's my son who chooses coal over the diamond. It runs in their blood. My husband also brought another woman despite knowing how to hurt I'll be. Back then I had Aiguo in my womb. I thought my son won't be like his father. But, my upbringing is shoddy. I am sorry dear.

I shook my head and hugged her again.

Fen Ju- Mother please don't say sorry to me. Maybe it's my destiny that I won't get the love of my husband. I just asked too much from a king.

Queen Mother- All kings aren't the same Ju. A real king has only one queen, both in room and kingdom. The real king knows that one queen who loves him unconditionally is enough for him. Like your father's house. Doesn't he have only one queen which is your mother?

I looked at her with teary eyes and she just let her tears fall down her eyes. Her eyes were hazel brown just like Aiguo's. His eyes are the best part of his face. They used to stare at me with full love and fondness, making me blush. But now those pair of eyes stare at someone else with love and fondness.

Queen Mother- Dear Ju, trust me someday you will find your king. You will find the one who will love you, who will respect you before anything, he will be your pride. You are a blessing of God, which will be received by that man. Which is not my son for sure.

She smiled and I hugged her. I don't want to hope anything now. I am leaving everything on God. If I deserve it, then I'll get it. But in reality, does this type of king exist for me?

MEANWHILE, THE WEST COAST OF NAVRAN

The whole army was formed and full of spirit. The eyes were shining from the courage and craziness to win the battle of West Coast of Narvan, which would give them the title of the most powerful empire of the world, ruling over half of the world solely, the Paevalon Empire and the king of Paevalon empire who was known as the God of War all over the world, King Fang Yang-Li.

Yang Li looked at his army and then by his side. His most trusted man Tang Chang and his brother Fang Duyi Chao.

Yang Li looked opposite side where his enemy The King of Narvan was waiting with his army.

Yang Li- BARLUS GIVE UP NOW, IT WILL SAVE YOUR MEN'S LIFE.

Barlus- YANG LI, I AM NOT SOMEONE WHO WILL GIVE MY COUNTRY TO YOU. FIGHT AND YOU WILL LOSE FOR SURE.

Yang Li looked at his men and then at the army of Narvan which was already half wounded from the first battle. He didn't want to make all of the men of Narvan die because of their king's craziness.

Yang Li- OKAY THEN. BUT THE BATTLE WILL BE BETWEEN ONLY YOU AND ME.

Barlus was shocked to hear Yang Li's proposal. He knew he could never win against Yang Li alone. But his madness and male ego were biggest than his men's lives.

Barlus- NO. OUR ARMIES WILL FIGHT. MY MEN WILL FIGHT AGAINST YOU.

Barlus men were taken back their king's word. They fought with The army of Paevalon, and they knew they couldn't win against them. Even if they fight they would lose their life. Yang Li looked at his enemy's army and he knew his work was done. Now he just needed to bring Barlus in front of him and he knew so well how to do that. He looked at Duyi Chao and nodded.

Duyi Chao- BARLUS JUST ACCEPT THAT YOU ARE AFRAID. GET SOME BALLS MAN,

With that, he started to laugh also the armies of both sides. Which made Barlus angry. He took out his sword and got down from his horse. Yang Li also got down.

Barlus- I'LL KILL YOU TODAY YANG LI.

With that he ran toward Yang Li with his open sword, Yang Li threw his small dragger toward Barlus right leg and it wounded his leg immodestly and he fall on the ground, Yang Li opened his sword and stood in front of Barlus.

Barlus- D-don't kill me.

Yang Li- I told you Barlus you will lose and now you are.

With that, he moved his sword opposite direction of Barlus head and his head was on the ground now.

The whole army of Paevalon started cheering for their victory against Narvan. And looked at his army with full of grace. He was a true king. A real king, who didn't just rule the lands but also rule the hearts of his people. A king of word.
