Telling Crim the Truth

The three wolves and two Lycans had set up their own sort of camp on the grasslands, they were a safe distance away from both the remains of the Ents, and the large, tusked buffalos, Tristan new that they were all fine, but for the moment he decided they all would rest. He needed to figure out what to do with the wolves and he had been debating about telling Crim the entire truth about them being Lycans and what being a hellhound entailed for Crim. Since he had the strange dreams and heard the voice in his head, he had been getting a bad feeling that the days of him and Crim just skating by would soon end. Tristan was worried about what he had been feeling and he didn't know when, but he knew that something bad was coming, either on Tavoor or when they got back to earth, maybe even later than that but he knew they needed to prepare. Telling Crim would be the start of it, and then working on him to not rely on his ghost form being untouchable, because he had almost died because of that with something as simple as the Ents.

"Crim do you remember when you asked if I was a werewolf?" Tristan asked, he decided to just go for it like ripping off a band-aide.

"Umm...yeah, I do, don't tell me you are actually one" Crim replied.

"I am not...well I am not one currently, and hope to not become one, what I am, and you as well is a Lycan." Tristan blurted out.

"Is that supposed to mean something to me? I have never heard of that before, also how can you and I be the same thing; I have way different abilities than you do." Crim said.

"Just like humans Lycans have different variations and abilities, you are a higher form of Lycan called a Hellhound, I am I don't know how far below in evolution, but a Hellhound is a final evolution for a Lycan and one of the strongest. Since I am not very close to a final evolution, I am not sure what I will end up being, but something you should know since I am the one that turned you as a hellhound one of your evolution traits is being extremely loyal to the leader of your pack. Which in this case is me, and I am not sure what exactly the extent of that is, but I have no intention of trying to control you or make you do things against your will. You are my first and really only friend at this point." Tristan just let it all out there, except for the system that simply would sound too far-fetched for anyone to believe, or at least that's what Tristan thought.

"At least I get a cool name...Hellhound" Crim grinned, "I planned on following you anyways, and us being Lycans doesn't really change anything for me..." A sudden realization appeared on Crim's face "If we are Lycans that means that there has to have been more Lycans otherwise this wouldn't be a name you would know to call us, so is there more of us?"

"I am not certain if there is more Lycans out there currently, there was at one-point a lot of Lycans, but now I am not sure, I have only been one for two weeks before I met you." Tristan replied.

"Is there anything else about a Hellhound? something that I should be able to do?" Crim asked.

"You should be able to control some sort of fire, like the fires of hell or something like that, and you get stronger by absorbing spirits and souls...which we kind of knew already." Tristan replied.

"I have noticed the fire, I am crap at using it and it seems weak but I will practice it, what's the deal with the saber tooth wolves over there?" Crim asked.

"Being Lycans I think wolves view us as gods, or royalty or something, but as long as they view me as strong, I think they will follow me, I am unsure if I can add them to the pack or not, but I think they are good allies to have, if we can find a way to bring them from Tavoor with us I would like to." Tristan replied.

"If we can find a way to communicate with them better it would be much easier, although i doubt they are as smart as a human they seem to be rather intelligent. So, I agree that that we should try and find a way to bring them with us if we can, till then though we now need to find you some materials for your weapons, I have plenty for mine, so if we can't find anything you can use some of the Ent metal." Crim said.

"As far as the Ent metal I think we should save it all for you, we don't know how long it will be before we find something else suitable for you and currently, we have enough to make your weapons and some armor for you, which will put my mind at ease a little bit." Tristan replied "Now will be a good time to go hunting as a pack with us and the three other wolves, we will see how good we are" Tristan looked at the Tusked buffalo and smiled, hopefully this will attract another predator, and if not I bet they taste good Tristan thought to himself.
